I have been hinting around about what our Grand Strategy should be in the War On Islamic Fascism. Some of the hints can be found at: Islam vs American Morality and In The Long Run Their Struggle Will Be Hopeless and The New Middle East. So what should our strategy be in plainer terms? We should be undermining Islamic fascist culture. How? There in lies a tail.

So I suppose by your take that hypocracy must be something that ONLY afflicts western theocratically inclined regimes and isn't endemic to the condition of theocracy as a whole.

As far as being Fascists, well, I could buy that argument if there were great Pro-Islamic corporate interests other than oil supplier states - who aren't all that pro-islamist when you get down to brass tacks, working hand in hand with some religious organ (an Islamic Caliphate or religious governing council) OR some meta-state organization of the Islamic world, (Al Queda might qualify if there were more than a smattering of actual members).

In a limited way this is certainly the case in Saudi Arabia and in Dubai but they aren't "officially" at war, with them. At the moment, it's just another export commodity and we're VERY,VERY big about those states being stable rather than trying to "nation build" all over Saudi Arabia.

What the US has chosent to fight is a religion and a BIG idea for 1 billion people and how they use pornography will be at its base the same as it is here, but used in the cultural context in which they are raised.

So what you're suggesting is - what exactly?

Give them all computers, give them all lots of free time , electricty and then what? Expect or hope they use to to browse porn-sites, just like Americans do? More likely they'd use that stuff to spread violently expressed flavors of Islam or worse - get more people more organized and do more damage overall?

It's a war we've ALREADY lost if you think about it that way.

The attacks on the United States and elsewhere were for the most part, incidental, most Americans or westerners for that matter do not understand what's going on.

It's the beginnings of a reformation, like Christiandom had, and which only REALLY ended when the abled-bodied generation of men was decimated and otherwise crippled to a point where no amount of "will" on the part of the king/state/church allowed wars to be continued in any significant way the way the Crusades or the 100 years war was. The Black Death was the final nail in the coffin for Christian on Christian warfare.

So the US's goal is really two fold;

1. Make them understand that WE are not the problem , that THEY have to come to terms with their own religion and

2. GET THE F * CK out of the way. Because like any reformation or counter-reformation, the reformation of Islam will be bloody, almost certainly nuclear or biological and I'd just asume is was most-all Muslim on Muslim action, as it deed it must eventually be, rather than the US getting dragged into someone's nuclear powered reformation, to try and spread democracy in a historically theocractic region of the world.

3. Get our own house in ORDER , we need to get off OIL, NOW. We need to actually do the job of immigration tracking in this country NOW. And we need to more properly educate our children and ourselves as to the actual potential threats that face this country like job arbitrage/outsourcing, deficits and the collapse of our own natural resources. It's not to say there isn't alot wrong with the world, there certainly is, I just do not believe it's our job to fix it all.

It's not to say I think it couldn't work, I just don't think you can go from living life like it's the 10th century to the 21st without experencing PROBLEMS.

IT will not be pretty.

We could use pornography on so many levels to help eradicate fundamentalism Islam.

The first wave will be a cargo plane full of naked nymphomaniacs. They will run half naked through the streets of Tehran looking for willing partners. Since males are not allowed to see a naked woman outside of marriage, the police should be powerless (unless they propose marriage on the spot).

For the next wave, we will target the men who slipped through he cracks. However, this time we will send women who look not like Playboy bunnies, but like Janeane Garoffolo. This will undoubtably turn some of the Islama Fascists gay, which will further erode their single minded crusade.
