Yes both political parties are a let down. In fact the whle political process has become a farse. Ever since the supreme court allowed corporations the same rights as an individual in the 1920's the middle and lower class of this nation have been shoved aside to make room for big money. You know one of my favorite paintings is Norman Rockwell's "Town Meeting" painting where you see a working class gent stand up and speak for himself. Everytime there is a law passed that looks as if it is designed to benefit the working man then after further review it benefits only the corporate interest groups. Like medicare/medicaide not being allowed to negotiate drug prices, or The new bankruptcy laws which allow credit card companies to change their rates without notice, or giving government insentive grants to big oil while they make record profits, Or how about the "model" health care plan in Massachusetts that simply is a law that you have to purchse health insurance but does not regulete the cost the insurance companies can charge. The laws I quote are both conservative and liberal laws so please don't label me as either. I am one man with one voice and I don't have the power on my own to change this great nation but together we might be able to "THROW THE BASTARDS OUT"

Being an independent is like sitting on a fence. Cant decide what side your on. I do however agree Regan was one of the best. FDR was good too but I wouldnt give a nickel for Truman.

I agree we've been enable down via the two events. inspite of the shown fact that i do no longer trust time era limits even for the president. Roosevelt knew he replaced into the 1st to be elected 4 circumstances, and had to be the only one. consequently he allowed the obstacles. What if via some unusual accident we elected someone as President the united the homestead, and the senate, secure our seashores and eradicated poverty in this u . s . a ., then the international. could we relatively desire to take of venture and then next guy screwing all of it up. i comprehend I went a sprint overboard yet interior the homestead and the senate what if that one person replaced into elected that made a differance. i comprehend i could want them to stay in there or run for bigger place of work.

Yes they are both a let down. The democrats have become socialist and the republicans have become the new democrats. I would vote libertarian if they could get their house together and pick a leader. A vote for libertarian is a vote for free speech!

Well the main Presidential Candidates are a let down. Congress is a letdown. Most of these people are willing to sell out Americans with this new Immigration Bill.

The Dem's are now socialists and the Republicans are now liberals, its a huge let down. I say create a conservative party that has politicians that actually believe in the things Reagan did.

Considering what's in the primary lineup, the earliest we'll be seeing a genuinely charismatic president able to work with both parties, and provide genuine leadership, will be 2012.

Yes that goes for independents to and all political party's around the world. When are people going to understand that politics is merely a game and the normal person is paying extortionate prices to watch it?
