Romney, He is not a flip flopper, he is a flip-flopper-flip. Man first he was pro-choice, now that he is running for Prez, to hell with a woman's choice. When he was Governor he was for gun control, now that he has to kiss con derriere he has been "life long" hunter and against gun control.
First he was for the immigration bill, now he is against it.
His opinions will shift like the sands in the Sahara.
I am no fan of Edwards but at least he was man enough to say his vote for authorization for dealing with Iraq was wrong.

Watching Romney makes my hair hurt and itch from all the lacquer he uses to keep his in place.

I only respond because I'm not sure either of them are "fake", but are what you see. Also, people mentioned Romney flip-flopping, but only mention his change from one view to another. That is not flip-flopping. It would be if he went back and forth and so on. He hasn't. Are politicians not given the right to evolve or change their minds? I have certainly progressed/evolved politically over the last 10 years and I don't see why other's shouldn't be allowed to. I think people are just talking trash and finding something to be negative about. It's unfortunate. Now, it is hard for me to like Edwards because of his being a plaintiffs' lawyer, and this from a lawyer, but I think he's a decent person. I also like him much more than Hillary and still on about the same plane as Obama. Not sure who I will vote for (I'm a registered Dem) in the primaries, but it will be interesting.

John Edwards by a long shot. The man thinks that he's a hero of the poor but yet he hoards his money so bad that he makes his campaign pay for his spa treatments (the haircuts he paid back, but only after he got caught). If he cared about the poor at all, he would donate at least half of his incredible fortune. He's got so much, he could still afford his lavish lifestyle and could avoid the term hypocrite which is easily applied to him.

Then there's the whole focus on the health care industry and how he blames corporations for the price of it when he as a trial lawyer helped make it so expensive.

This guy has some nerve sneering at most Americans for not doing enough to advance his causes when he should think of himself as the greatest living example of what he thinks is wrong with the country.

I really do think it's a toss-up. Though Romney has been caught in more lies than Edwards. So I guess it would have to be Romney. Edwards reminds me of a talking Ken doll, and Romney reminds me of Snidely Whiplash.

Neither. They are just individuals who for some God-awful reason believe that by leading a nation that they can actually make a difference. (sarcasm is hard to convey without italics.)

With all due respects for your opinions, Pigeon-holing individuals based on one or two attributes is a little too simple .Perhaps we can elevate the debate in this country by looking beyond haircuts and religious preferences.

Your question serves the current masses that will hold on to trivialities and unfairly characterize human beings for what they perceive instead of what we are, complex individuals that are multi-faceted and have the ability to actually accomplish the goals they set with some cooperations.

John Edwards by far. He says the economical system is fixed yet he lives in a huge house across the street from a trailor park in NC. Funny thing he started out in lowly beginnings. Phony? I think so.
