do you know the SOL for collectioning a debt ?

Hello, can you please tell me the SOL for a collection agency, if no payment was ever made. How many years do they legally have to collect it ? Its for Va..Its for a hospital debt

Sorry, I should of said, not for a judgement , but for a collection acct. that has not ever been paid on before. It says 3 yrs in VA. for service or goods..Do you know if thats accurate?

Can someone please read the SOL for Va. and tell me if its 3 years for a medical collection. I need to make sure Im reading it right, I may not really undersand .Thank you !!

It is 7 years unless they file a claim with the courts before the end of the seven years.
