If you actually paid attention, Bush publicly accepted global warming years ago, drawing criticism from the likes of Rush Limbaugh. The question is: what is really causing it, is it a natural cycle or is it caused by human behavior. And, regardless of the cause, what can and should be done to address it.

Indulge me for one second.......Just suppose that the rising temperatures were part of a normal cycle, and caused by natural changes, currents, sunspot activities, etc. what could the impact of man's efforts to stop/reverse a natural environmental cycle? Could it be even more catostrophic than letting nature take its course? Mother Nature can be a b$tch, do we really want to mess with Her!

Al Gore does takes global warming very seriously....he takes it all the way to the bank! He owns interest in a "Carbon Offset" company, people putting money in Al Gore's pockets to alleviate the guilt he created in them through his movie and books! Because of his clever and evil manipulation of people's emotions and separating people from their hard-earned, under-paid wages, seems you would think he was an unscrupulus, capitolistic, greedy, Republican devil!

You should also understand the difference between lying and being wrong, mistaken, misinformed, and having a different point of view than you. If you want to accuse Bush of lying about Iraq, then let me see you also include Clinton, Kerry, Gore, Pelosi, Fienstien, et al as liars too!

And BTW, regarding the Kyoto Accord, IT WAS BUBBA CLINTON THAT DECLINED TO SIGN IT!!!!!

Ask real questions that you actually want/need others answers to understand something. If you want a soapbox, start a blog!

Reading between the lines is not your strength. Bush's low poll numbers are about a very unpopular war. Republicans are a lot more diverse than you imagine. It is folly to say that Republicans think this or that. It is a very large group as groups go with many different view points. If you wish to be accurate, put down your paint roller and sharpen your crayola.

I'm not jumping on the global warming bandwagon because it's been darn tootin' cold where I live until recently. However, I do firmly believe in doing as much as we can to improve the environment.

Oh, so you're translating for our President now? You can presume anything you want, but that doesn't make it true. Global warming is nothing more than the cyclical warming and cooling of the earth.

I remind you of this time-honored test to detect lying in a politician:

Look carefully at his lips. Are they moving? If so, then he's lying. (If not, he's likely 'lying by omission.')

Works on lawyers, too.

He is feverishly trying to regain his approval rating. He is squirming under pressure from his party.
