In my own jurisdiction we have what's referred to as the Department of Youth Services...Jail for Juveniles!
The activities of the juveniles are CLOSELY supervized 24 hours a day with educational studies a priority. There is limited "exercise" time which is a confidence course allowing for physical education.
It mirrors military basic training very closely.
Best wishes.

Bad boy. Unless you really want your life wrecked stay out of it. Focus on school and respect your teacher's. You get in Juvie and it is going to follow you the rest of your life. One way or the other and it will likely be a short one.

Perhaps no one can associate with your question.
I have included a link that explains this hall also known as a youth detention center.

If it mirrors military basic training very closely.Take the case in Florida where the boot camp cops killed a young boy with all this military basic training. Now the state is facing a 5 million dollar wrongful death suit.A lot of it depends how on the cops feel that day.
