Why is it BAD for Michelle Obama to want to put a "career" aside to help the love of her life (and partner)run for President?
It's a job...
BUT, Hillary "stands by her man" the serial adulter and rapist and you don't even hear a peep from them on behalf of the women he abused. They applauded HILLARY!

NOW is not about womens issues per se. They are about self survival. If women once again become happy being at home, NOW will loose the political power they have gained and their importance will falter. Hillary is the pinnacle of what they hope all women want to become. Someone who will sacrifice everything (even themselves) to what they consider the "womans cause", reaching the "top" (in this case the Presidency) to prove we, as women, are truly equal to men.
Personally, I think they are a hideous organization that is full of men haters. All but Mr. Clinton, maybe. I have never viewed the feminist movement as a good thing. It has given women two jobs, one in a career and one at home. It has successfully destroyed the traditional family. They have tried to homogenize our society by trying to diminish what makes women, women and men, men. It has pushed upon our country political issues that I don't think that the average American cares about.
I think this is very evident in the fact that women like Mrs. Obama would give up her career for her husbands. And the fact that there are more women opting to be stay at home moms. Or things like job sharing and taking less demanding jobs with lesser pay to be able to raise their kids, is a testament to the fact that most women don't value what feminist organizations, like NOW, value.

Where did it say that they applauded Hillary? I don't remember N.O.W or any feminist applauding Hillary for quitting any job. I do remember them applauding her for all the work she had done for children while in the Clinton Cabinet when Bill was in office.
Did you even read the entire article??? It doesn't sound like it. Please read the entire article and recite it word for word because you are missing alot of the article's point entirely. The author was using a figure of speech when suggesting she was mad at her. She was empathizing with her more than she was mad at her. Damngirl, you need a reading comprehension class.
BTW, what makes you think the author is from NOW? She doesn't even have it listed on her blog.

N.O.W.'s support of the Clinton's is baffling. Hillary road her husband's coattails into power, something most Feminists deplore. Her husband is a female predator, yet they officially have endorsed Hillary. This is pure politics.
N.O.W. has turned into a group of angry Leftist women dedicated to an abortion/same sex marriage agenda. They will sacrifice anything for these two issues.

I won't remark on your Hillary or Bill speech.
As to Michelle Obama.....ultimately it is her decision and N.O.W. should respect her decision!
I mean they should be happy that because of all of the efforts of the many women over the years women like Mrs.Obama have the opportunity to make those decisions freely!
Perhaps there's a woman who really needs the job who will replace her!

Clinton is not a serial rapist - he has never been convicted of rape and to say he has is an outrageous slander. How can you demand we support a president who illegally starts a war, while smearing another with lies like this.
Clinton's sex life is his own business. You obviously have a serious obsession with it, so either sleep with him or give up on it!.

NOW's political calculations are not based in what is actually for the betterment of women generally, only for the particular women in politics who offer their lobby something they want. They seldom come to the defense of women who are not of the left or far left persuasion and clearly disdain any woman who refuses to be a victom of man-oppression of some kind.

Au contraire, my beautiful cuz! We did hear from the NOW when Clinton's sexual harrassment came to light. They issued a public ENDORSEMENT of Clinton. True story.
The NOW was already being discredited before that, and they put the nail in their coffin with that one.
