No doubt there were some but not on the scale of the illegals now. Doesnt matter what race they are.

Yes there have allways been illegal immigrants but not on a scale this large,the European and Asian immigrants that came late 1800's through the turn of the century were mostly brought in legally all though a fair amount did sneak in through Canada.
