With all the debate over the minimum wage increase, I have to know-do you think it's a good thing or a bad thing? Backup your reasoning with possible economic ramifications from either increasing the wage or leaving it alone. Most logical answer wins!!!!

Just recently the court agreed the bank charges are the price of the service provided by the bank..which will blow all the customers who intend to reclaim their money for unfair charges. Do you think it's possible for the government to legislate in this context? WHY?

QUESTION: Should the President be impeached and indicted on charges of high crimes and treason for lying to America about Iraq's WMD and for committing our nation to war? Indicted for a war that murdered almost two million innocent Iraqi citizens (Hebrews) and four thousand innocent US soldiers. Should Rice and Cheney be likewise charged and indicted?

Side facts: (1) It was illegal for the President Bush Senior and therefore Bush Junior, during his term in office, to commit our nation to war, based on the fact that our nation had no legal right to act and that Saddam had committed no wrong. Yet, our nation, President Bush and company, said that all we wanted in 1990-91 was for Iraq to leave Iraq. (2) During this time, my firm had secured Saddam's agreement to withdraw as well as to come to the negotiation table on matters of oil, trade, and regional security. Was President Bush Sr wrong to have invaded Kuwait and was Bush Junior wrong for invading Iraq based on these things and more.

Obviously they keep covering up the truth.
And then they try and blame it on the Liberals or Clinton. It's like reality they think that Clinton and the liberal were in power the last 6 years..

What's up with these major cognitive deficits? Do we call it dementia, or just the plague of the loyal Bushies.

Are these folks not the worse public servants this country has had in centuries?

It seems to me that people need to stop dwelling on things they can't change... this is the hand we were dealt people.. deal with it and move on! The great thing is this applies to so many situations... Abortion.. if you don't like it or do like it.. the Supreme Court says it's legal and you aren't going to change that.. only they can change that.. so deal with it and move on.. you want to make a difference? Then start trying to help mothers in need so they don't think they have to choose that.

Iraq.. we shouldn't have gone in.. but hey guess what.. we can't change that so deal with it and move on.. No one is going to be looking into this stuff till after Bush is out of office and dwelling in it won't help the situation now. I'd prefer us to not be there but till we get a new president that is not an option.

see how well that works? What else can it be applied to?

I'm a sergeant in the Army, and I am totally against the war. I have been over there myself and I witnessed first hand that we do not need to be over there for any reason. Many senators have also showed uneasiness with the war and have wanted to get out, yet the vote yesterday shows than only 29 of them want to get out. I don't understand it, is it a money thing. Is everyone in congress making too much money from the war to vote to get out?

When you see, know of or hear of other people committing a crime, do you feel duty bound to report it and if so do you? Or do you decide for yourself what is 'worth' reporting or not (and therefore what you consider to be a crime). Like if you know someone who is forever going to the pub drinking 4 pints and then driving home, do you report them or do you think that it is the Police's responsibility to 'catch' him in the act. How serious does a crime have to be? Speeding, assault, murder? Before you feel like you should intervene. Which crimes do or would you turn a blind eye to? Does it make a difference if you know them or not? Like would you feel more comfortable reporting a stranger, more so than say your parent, best friend or boss?

The founder of the 700 Club also founded Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. Their law school sends alumni to the highest places in the US Government and their faculty consists of former Atty. General John Ashcroft and other luminaries. In America, where religion and state are separate, graduates of a religious college are taking over the US Government from within and no one is speaking up. As a result, those US attorneys who did not mesh with Pat Robertson's alumni were fired from their posts. In past regimes, those "politically insignificant" people would have been executed or imprisoned for life. How did we allow this to happen and can we stop it?

3. My neighbors are ALL Conservatives and they are GREAT.
We have block parties in the summer and 5 of us take turns making lunches for each other (to try new things). I live in an awesome city and it is over 90% Republican. It is a decent place and perfect to raise a family.

You know i saw something too sad early this morning. A 14 yr old palastine girl asked a question. Pretty brave, but you know i though that she has every right to voice her opinion about terrorism, no different then an american. And you know what happened, she was dogged on so bad. Even after ppl found out she was only 14. Why is it that most americans seem to not have an opinion of their own, they have to go the way of the polls. I feel the way i do now because i do listen to my brother. Yes, by the way i am a born and raised american. Along with my parents. At first i will admitt that i blame all muslims. Until my brother came home for good from the Army, after spending 2 tours in Iraq. He talks so highly of the Iraqi ppl. He is the one, along with many other soldiers, who has said that muslims are good ppl. They are kind and have more manners then we do. He also says that his job there isn't done, and there are more ppl to be saved, and to help. So if he doesn't hate them, why do you
