Good question. I'm not aware that any 'stealth vs stealth' air to air combat has ever occurred - at least for real.

I take it you're assuming the aircraft will be 'invisible' to each others' radar? In any case they may not use their own radar for fear of revealing their position - you're no longer 'stealthy' if you're emitting.

They could use other sensors, like infra-red or electro-optical systems. They could also receive target information via voice or datalink from other surveillance assets.

Stealth fighters aren't invisible you know...

They're just invisible to radar.

The only advantage is that the enemy has to aim manually, and can't use computer-guided missles to shoot you down.

Not that the Ta-li-ban HAVE computer-guided missles but hey, whatever....
