Clinton dies and of course goes straight to hell. When he gets there the Devil greets him and offers him three ways to spend eternity. They go to the first door and the Devil shows him Newt Gingrich, hanging from the ceiling with fire under him. Bill says "Oh no! That’s not how I want to spend all eternity......." They go to the second door. The Devil shows him Rush Limbaugh chained to the wall being tortured. Bill says "Oh no! Not for me!"

They go to the third door. Behind it is Ken Starr, chained to the wall with Monica Lewinsky on her knees giving him a BJ. Bill thinks and decides, "Hmmm, looks okay to me. I’ll take it." The Devil then says, "Good. Hey Monica, you’ve been replaced

My niece has worked for the same company for over 10 years. She was promoted to a supervisory position with lots more money. Last week she was demoted back to her old position (and her pay was cut), because the company says they want someone in that position who is bilingual. Can they just do that to her?

This quote from an AP news story boils me:

"...Iraqi security forces near the soldiers' outpost probably saw and heard the attack and 'chose to not become an active participant in the attack on either side.' "

Now, I don't want to force our military to leave a job undone -- I admire them for their difficult task, and I want them to be able to do the job that's demanded of them. That said, I think we've got to insist that Iraqis' fate is in THEIR hands. When are we going to demand the corruption stop and civil warriors take control of their country? Anyone have any proof that this is happening? (And let's not discuss whether our Idiot King should have even sent us to this bogus "war," to begin with; that's another matter.)

I got pulled over and got a speeding ticket yesterday. I asked the police officer to show me the radar or a picture or some sort of evidence of her tagging me. She said she didn't have it, but she was "car clocking" me and that is enough. According to her, "car clocking" is her matching her car's speed to my bike and determining the speed that way. Is this legal? Can she do this? Does she need proof to show me? I'm in Minnesota btw...

Fox News and many of the conservative commentators have said that Wolfowitz is the victim of a set up by Board members to get someone less indebted to the Bush Administration to run the World Bank. If he really did nothing wrong, wouldn't his actions be perceived as selling out both the President who appointed him and the US interest in the World Bank?

The Persian Gulf war was to get Saddam out of Kuwait. The mission was accomplished. I was there from November of 90 to November of 91. I did my 1 year tour. It sucked. It was hot, the flies and fleas were bad, sand storms every other day...

MY REPLY
In November 1990, the company that I worked for secured Saddam's agreement to withdraw from Kuwait and his invasion of Kuwait was something in which our nation had no legal right to act. The only time we could legally get involved in a conflict like that was if Saddam had committed an act of naked aggression. Meaning he invaded for no good cause and his motive was for material gains or to take over another nation. Both was not the case. Saddam's action was to correct a wrong, Kuwait's violation of OPEC rules. A policing action like what our nation does many times around the world!

You people should hold Bush's feet to the fire and hold him accountable!

Israel does all kinds of things that I think are dangerous, unfair and maybe, just maybe; ill conceived. So why, pray tell does that make me "anti-semitic?" I have to agree with everything they do, just because they are "the chosen ones?" What if they're wrong? Has anyone ever ask that question? Or are they all afraid of being attacked by the fanatics who haunt this site?

She is concerned that the debt will fall upon her. She is an unemployed, low-income senior citizen.

What should the widow do? She has no idea how to proceed and everyone gives conflicting information.

How long does the states attorney office have to decide on whether they want to press charges?

A coworker of mine was turned into the police for alleged sexual relations by his 16 yo gfs parents. He is more than 5 years older than her so he is facing a felony if convicted.

The detective told him that the report would be turned into the states attorney office and they would decide whether or not to prosecute. Almsot a month has gone by and he has heard nothing. Her 17 b-day is in 2 months meaning she will then be legal in the state of illinois.

He is madly in love with this girl but is afraid if he ever even bumps into her by accident that the cops will be taking him away. Should he never talk to her again even when she is of age?
