Is there one person in this forum who wants to see us at war and enjoys the loss of American lives?

Can anyone answer this with a simple yes or no and no bashing?

My own response is NO.

i find it frustrating to hear asylum seekers etc are receiving government benefits to live here for free when the government consistantly tells us year after year how little money there is to go around for hospitals, education, housing etc

My sister has a friend in Illinois that just recently found out she may be pregnat. She wants to keep the baby, but the husband is demanding an abortion. Can he force her to have the abortion? Are there laws to protect her from it? Also, he said if she has the baby then he is putting it up for adoption can he make her do that? I mean can he sign adoption papers without her consent and make her give this baby up?

Granted they aren't in the best marriage & aren't very financially stable, but it is against her beliefs to do this can he force her into it if she doesn't want to?

------- Step 2: Apologogize profusely to the world for what the U.S. has done for the past seven years. ------- Step 3: Beg for international assistance for Iraq.

I was wondering if law states that a person may be arrested after treatment in a hospital for illegal drug overdose or infections due to intravainous injections. Like if you go to a hospital for being on a bad acid trip, you bring your friend to a hospital for od'ing, or if something like that happens after you get treated to you get arrested?

Why is there still so much fear and hatred of the little Caribbean country of Cuba by the USA. The Cold war with Russia is over and they are no longer Communist and we are pretty good buddys now. Vietnam is all Communist and we now trade with them and their tourism industry is rapidly growing with American tourists. China, the biggest most powerful Communist country in the world has been beloved by America since Nixon was president. Remember "Most Favored Nation"? Everytime we buy Chinese imports we are building the strength of the Red Army that could one day be a threat. If it's Communists we fear, what is the criteria for who should be feared and who shouldn't. Is it just the close proximity of Cuba, or is it just that Castro wouldn't back down.

This is a serious question. Why is it that almost all Republicans say this? Why couldn't if be "unpatriotic" to send thousands of soldiers to die in an unjust war? Why couldn't it be "unpatriotic" to not give these soldiers proper care when they return home?

In my personal view and experience, the reliably Republican voters I know punch the straight "R" ticket based on pro-life solely. If the dem's just walked away from this issue, I think that would make the rest of the issues in the country matter again, what do you think?

I used to loved Ann Coulter (most of the time)...her quick wit and ability to put libs in their place in the blink of an eye. But ever since she was on Donny D's Big Idea and flashed her underwear while crossing her legs, I just don't feel the same. Did she ever give a resonable explanation for what she did?

How many of you have actually been in countries ie, South East Asia? The person that I was refering to is actually my neice by marriage. As for the term "anchor babies", This is actually a recently coined term. My neice was here on a Tourist Visa. So she was here legally. She only wanted the very best for her child, as any parent would. The US is portrayed as a country of unbeleivable opportunities, "a land of milk & honey". IF most of you good people out there could see the way many people live in other countries, you would understand that they are willing to use whatever means necessary to have a better life for their families. I see that I have hit "a nerve" with many out there. At times I agree with most of your views. We need to get down on our knees & thank God that we live in such a great country where we are free to express our views. God Bless all of you.

And while Al is at it, he can take his friend Jesse Jackson and fade into obscurity.

I'd rather deal with Edwards then those two race-baiting nutcases.

Why can some people do the crime but not the time? For example the Latest person, Paris. She was driving drunk and on a suspended license. First it was 45 days, put on hold due to overcrowded jails. Now it is down to 25 days. Woopie, just slap her on her hand and let her go. If the average person did this we would be in jail, overcrowded, or not.
I don't think just because she and others have money they should get off with a slap on the hand. Just watch if she is not careful next she will drive drunk and get either herself or someone else killed.

I was fired a few days ago very suddenly. I have been working for a caregiving company for 2 and a half years now and aside from one write up (for missing a shift) I have been a dedicated employee. I was called into the office on Tuesday and they told me another caregiver had reported that i was on my laptop at work and that my husband was outside waiting for me in the courtyard and for those reasons they were letting me go. They did not write me up for using the laptop (i was told about a year ago that it would be better if i just read a book at work) but a good amount of caregivers use their laptops at work and my client was sound asleep and all the household chores were done. It was the last half hour of my shift and i decided to work on some homework. My husband was waiting for me to get off because we have one car and was in the courtyard of the building (on PUBLIC property) they said that was client confidentiality. Is this grounds for termination after 2 1/2 YEARS??
