I would love to see the world at peace, but being a realist I know for a fact that the definition of peace depends on who you ask.
Ask a commie, and they are the greatest peace lovers in the world, to define peace and when you finally get to the truth, it is when all are subservient to what they say.
Ask a terrorist what peace is, he will tell you when all of his enemies are dead.
War is a fact of life, like getting older, dying, and in AMerica paying taxes without representation.
No, I wish we were not at war, but I also know if we were not there killing them as fast as we can, they would be here doing unspeakable horrors to our friends and families.
I cannot believe the bush haters and socialists in AMerica can forget 9/11, it is just beyond comprehension. THat they are so naive or brainwashed that they refuse to believe that is better to leave the terrorists alone, that if we cut and run, that the terrorists will not be back bigger and stronger, it is just naive. My guess is so few have ever fought for their lives, or for that man laying on the ground next to you, they have no understanding of what the meaning of freedom means.
"Freedom for those who have fought for it
has a special flavor the protected will never know."

No. But sometimes you have to fight and lose some lives or the alternative would be worse and probably more lives lost.
If lives weren't lost in the Revolutionary War we'd still be a colony of England. If lives weren't lost in the Civil War America would be two countries now. If lives weren't lost in WWII we'd either be speaking German or Japanese.
Understand?

Okay...
Yes I believe we should have gone to war
and NO i dont want american lives to be taken.
Who in their right mind would ENJOY the loss of american lives? That is absolutly rediculous. I dont like being at war, but I believe we need to be there. I support the presidents desision to go there, I dont care how unpopular that is. I have alot of friends over there, none of them have been injured or anything like that but the amount of american lives compaired to how many americans are killed here in AMERICA every day there is no comparisson. Yes the soldiers wouldnt die if they wherent in Iraq. But I have more of a chance of dying walking down the streets of New York at night then going to Iraq and dying.
So im giving you a yes and a No for that one. :)

War is never pretty. I don't want to see us at war nor do I like the fact that our soldiers are dying at an alarming rate. However, a justified war is worth fighting. Iraq is not a justified war and has probably created more problems for us than we would have had by just leaving that madman in power. Was it the right decision? Only time will tell.

of course not. No one enjoys the loss of life. No one here celebrated the deaths of our citizens when the USS Cole was attacked. No one rejoiced when thousands died on 9/11. No o

No body wants war, but war is inevitable. This war was bound to happen. Past administrations pacified these haters of all things American. We need to be there, as unpopular as that statement will make us.
