i don't know if I ever call it "good' when anyone has to kill another. it is good that the hostages were freed without getting hurt.

Well not every situation works out that way. The best one i have seen was the one where the Madrid police gave the bank robber the motor cycle he wanted and then when the motor cyclist started speeding down the road the Madrid Police ran a car out in front of him. I have the video for your enjoyment This happened I think about a month after the Madrid Train Bombings so you know the Police did not screw around..

BTW most intelligent hostage takers would not leave themselves that exposed in the US if he was leaning out of the window like that a sniper would have probably taken him right out.

Absolutely. To negotiate is to show weakness and thats more damaging than anything else you can do. This is a concept the Democrats have not gotten through their thick skulls yet. They actually belive that appeasement works....NOT.

Negotiate, don't negotiate...either way the only thing they wish to do is kill ALL infidels. How do you negotiate with that? Especially when you consider they believe ALL of us in the west are infidels!

The only negotiation should be how much they charge the perps family for the bullet used.

Works for me!

And I bet they didn't spend days figuring out how "society is to blame" for this guy, either.

It doesn't necessarily make me happy that this guy put himself in a position to be killed. But my real sympathy lies with the baby, and its loved ones, and the cops who had to face this man.

When you pull a gun like this, you open a door. You have to accept whatever comes through.

Yep. We dont need people who offer the Taliban a role in the Afghan government (Bill Frist--Republican) or that sell F-14s to Iran (Bush administration) or that support countries funding the insurgents (Saudi-Aribia as bBush's friend and ally) or that continues to had aid to an outlaw state like N Korea (like Bush is doing) despite the fact they're breaking their agreements--AGAIN.

But, by God, they're keeping us safe from those paintball players in New Jersey!
