Yep... but, whether or not the prosecutor would pursue adjudication would depend on what you were doing to draw the attention of the police. I think the cops are more worried about dealing with problems than people who are just trying to do the right thing.

Yes it is a Public Intoxication charge, and normally results in sleeping it off in a cell, and reporting for court, and normally doesnt result in to much as far as punishment unless you are a habitual offender.
I have been arrested for the same thing, but was released in the morning, they just threw me in the drunk tank. as long as you are not staggering around, and making trouble, or knocking over trash cans then alot of officers will not bother you.

Yes, you can get arrested for being drunk in public.

Yup, they usually say your stubbling around and that's drunk in public...isn't it crazy they don't want you to drive while drinking but when you walk they still pick you up!

If you're not causing trouble or disturbing anyone, the cops probably won't bother you. They may even help you get home, if you ask them nice.

Only if you draw attention to yourself or put yourself into danger such as stumbling into on comming traffic. If your going to walk, do it as safely as possible. Dont talk to anyone that you dont have to and get to where your going as quickly as you can.
