We are fighting a war in a country who has been fighting for thousands of years. They don't want us there. We have lost more soldiers than people we lost in 9/11. Our gas prices are worse than they have ever been. I don't see how "winning" or "losing" the war in Iraq benefits our own country in any way, shape or form.

Why not just say you're 'pro abortion'? Or is that just too politically incorrect for the pablum puking liberals who always say 'pro choice'? I never say I'm 'pro choice'. I always say I'm 'pro abortion'. I believe in chopping up the little buggers and sucking out the remnants of their little bodies with a giant vaccum pump. After all, that's what happens during an abortion. So why sugar coat it?

Will you note who was for this and vote them out of office regardless of party affiliation? Will you vote for the ones that still want enforcement through attrition?

Will all the congress, the senate and the White House get a thorough election brow beating or will America just take it as the status quo?

just wondering...I do, can anyone really say our foreign policy had nothing to do with it, it's not a justification for it, just saying that it definitely could be considered a cause, regardless if it's just(which obviously it isn't)?

Looks to me like Congress just threw out the baby with the bathwater. Looks like they sold us down the river or up the proverbial creek without a paddle.
Looks like Congress is ignoring what their constituents want.
What do you think?

What about all the people who enter the US legally? They apply for their visa and pay their fees. Then they have to wait for their visa to arrive. This process can take months.
But if we grant amnesty to illegal immigrants are we just rewarding them for breaking the law and disreguarding the people who did the right thing.

Our government is part of the problem, but the biggest problem is the american business man who doesn't give a crap about the american household. They are the ones hiring the illegal immigrants and not hiring the proper people legal to work in this country. I don't have a problem hiring black's, white's, hispanic's or any other race as long as their legal resident's of this great country of our's! Remember, the U.S.A. is the best country in the world, it's our government that I can't stand and who is bringing it down!!!

Is it possible to have some liberal views and some conservative beliefs within the same person? Which of the two major political parties is considers liberal and which is conservative?

Don't bother trashing one or the other. I don't want to hear negative opinions of each.

Look, I don't like her either. For 1 DUI and 1 Driving on a Suspended License in California, if it was you or I who did it we would serve ZERO Jail time in most instances. The "Good Behavior" would be if she enrolled in DUI School, or attended a few AA meetings.
The only reason she is doing ANY jail time was so the Judge would 'Teach Her a Lesson" and so he could, get in the Paper.
So why all the anger ay little Paris, for getting a jail sentence at all, when you and I would get none?

I'd really like to know more about it. What little I could find, sounds almost like a repeat of the disastrous amnesty bill of 1986. I hope I'm wrong. I really like to think that something was learned from that and that our elected representatives will make better decisions this time around. I don't claim to have the answers, but it can be frightening to think what these politicians will base their decisions on. It's usually not what is in the best interest for the US.
Does anyone know where I can read the proposed immigration overhaul agreement that was made on Thursday by some key democratic and republican senators?
Thanks

I don't understand government very well, but I've heard about obtaining a visa to come into America when you aren't a citizen. Maybe if the Mexican government straightened up, it's citizens wouldn't feel such a need to come over here and break a whole bunch of laws doing it.
Also, why should illegal immigrants get benefits that legal citizens can't have?

Mty mom left my brother alone for like 10-15 minutes so she could go to the mailbox. Nosy neighbor called cops. my mom had to deal with CPS (Child protection S4rvicies) My brother wasn't harmed.
After going to a hearing the judge gave my mother two options jail time or probation(3-5 years). My mom's lawyers are saying taking probation or dont do anything yet. It's very confusing. The court has no proof of the allegation of my brother being alone for 2-43 hrs. It was only 15 minutes maximum. CPS came to my school and interviewed me. My mom has been told she might lose custody of us. What's your view?>

Our company has a service contract for network availabiity. The
service level is for a “minimum average of 99.9%“. The calculated
measurement last month(using very precise and unrounded information)
was 99.8614%.

The vendor maintains that the 99.8614% should be "rounded-up" to conform
with the significant digits in the contract (nn.n%) and therfore the
service level was achieved. Unfortunately, the contract did not
address rounding, calculation precision, or significant digits.

Our position is that the word “minimum“ implies a floor threshold -
where the measurement is either below it or above(equal). In this
situation, 99.8614% is below the 99.9% floor.
