I just want to make sure that a California physician can legally phone in a prescription to a Georgia pharmacy.

Yes, of course. Any licensed MD in the U.S. can write a prescription for any state.

Possibly. Just either call your Dr or the pharmacy and ask. Or just call both to be sure. If it is something that just needs a refill or an authorization for a refill, I wouldn't see a problem with it. If it is a totally new prescription, then there might be some rules about out of state things there. I am not sure. Just call to double check. Better safe than sorry and if you don't call you won't ever find out.

I think so. Call Walgreens and ask them.
