Search in the UK for "private investigator", not for detective in google or yahoo.. (The latter work sfor the police).
Prizing, depends what you want it for. Go for a reliable company so you dont get ripped off.

OOOOh why do you need a detective? Has **** hit the fan. Try in the yellow pages they have loads. It can be expensive tho. Hope this helps.

private detectives are good, they do there job well, they really helped me, only thing is, it cost over five grand, so if it worth it use them, my was based in London, chiswick, all the best
