Consider if the person was already convicted of the crime. Why do they continue to have rights? If they're locked up,they shouldn't have ANY if you ask me. Especially ones who commit hanous crimes.

(1) some people, who have never been hurt by criminals, believe in human rights. Note the fine print: people, who are "still alive", have rights, which usually translates into dead victims lost their rights.

(2) In short, there are way too many people abusing the idea of "Human Rights" without understanding the meaning of "Human Rights".

(3) Media and lawyers love drama, especially when there is criminal involved. Any "dis-respect" usually translates into lots of state money going toward to the criminal's family.

Are you saying that criminals should be abused? That power hungry corrections officers should be able to do as they please to the convicts? Conditions in the prisons are bad enough, please don't ask that they be made worse.

I agree that the criminal justice system is far from perfect, and it is especially hard on the victims, but taking more away from the criminals is not the answer. Perhaps we should focus on preventing criminal behavior instead.

I agree.....I feel that while in jail, you have no rights.....The reason you are in jail is to repay you debt to society....you don't do that in a cell.....bring back chain gangs, make them dig ditches, mow road ditches....make the work....that will repay the debts......The guards should be able to shoot first ask questions later..... but thats just what I think. I also think that if you are sentanced to die, you should be walked out of the courtroom and straight to the chair....punishment carried out no more that 24 hours after sentancing. No more of this 15-20 year on dealth row....

Capital Punishment for parking tickets will solve the problem or reintroduce lions, tigers, and bears into our society. Or do both you choose.

Because they usually know the law better then their victims. We tiptoe with respect to them cause if we don't it gives them grounds for appeal. It stinks, but is true.
