It's too difficult to determine if someone is good or bad across the board. I think Bush has been good for many things to this country, primarily the steering of an economy that took some pretty serious shocks early in the term and survived reasonably well. The tax cuts are/were a major part of it, feeding needed cash back into the economy to allow it to grow.
On the bad side, the mess in Iraq is often pointed to, but I have mixed feelings on this. Did the administration bungle the plans and strategies for winning, you bet your a**. However, I do believe that this is a fight worth fighting and WINNING but this is probably a 20+ year fight and the attention span of this country is probably two orders of magnitude less than that. Anyone who thinks there are simple answers to this radical islamic funamentalists who use the tactics that are used today is fooling themselves.
But to measure the "goodness" or "badness" of a president because your boyfriend can't come home from a commitment that he made is just silly

First and foremost this administration, has trampled the constitution , The Patriot act, and Home land security has taken away so many of our American God given freedoms.
We were tricked into a war, that we have no business in. We are invading another country much like terrorist, destroying and killing innocent people. All to steal oil, not talk a bout a better price but to steal oil from this other country. We don't even understand why these people hate us so. We are told they are our enemies and I am sure they are, but we are theirs because we invaded them , under false pretense.
Our freedoms are disappearing everyday under the descies of more protection. We are the most protected country in the world and that didn't stop 9/11. Or was 9/11 a set up to trick us into a war and better security?

I think Bush is not a very good president. He seems to like the idea of America being at war. Why is he so concerned with life in other countries, while we, here in America, have problems of our own. America has its own problems with the homeless, the needy and hungry, dying children and so much illness. economic growth and stability, high gas prices that is taking a toll on so many families, children and education, crimes, etc. The Amercan people are the ones that need to be taken care of first and foremost. Our Solders need to come home, too many lives have been taken away from familes. We need a President that needs to take care of the American people first.

He stole his way into the White House. People threw eggs at him on his way there. He's friends with the Bin Ladens. Only one plane flew during 9-11 that was a plane full of Bin Ladens family leaving the country. He's the reason why the price of gas is so high. He's just keeping his oil buddies happy. After all they funded his campaign. He's sent thousands to die for a war that makes no sense. Let's see what else....Besides the fact that he's a complete idiot and our President....Yeah things could be better.

Bush 40 3 isn't the worst president. he's by utilising far, no longer the suited or maybe close. a lot of human beings tend to overlook different presidents. Hoover became a disaster , subsequently the shacks that have been spoke of as Hoover residences. maximum persons of the country became residing in poverty. Carter became additionally a foul chief. Bush is undesirable, yet there have maximum genuinely been worst.

I think Bush is not a good leader. Just because your dad was President it doesn't make you fit for the job. There are tons of reasons. Oil, Social Security, Immigration, taxes, spending etc. He has no responsibility, isn't that one of the first thing we teach our kids. If he does have responsibility, he should lower our entire deficit that he caused during his years in office, reduce gas prices, have a solution for the war, make peace etc.
Thanks to all of you who voted for him, especially those in the South. Lastly, I think there aren't too many leaders in DC. Everybody is talking but noone is working. We need a leader soon, one who does the work and isn't into this political BS.

At the most basic level, G.W.Bush is a bad president because he is incompetent as shown by Katrina and Iraq. At a higher level, he is a bad president because he lies and is uninspiring. At the highest level, he is a terrible president, because, he violates and has failed to protect the constitution of the United States.

He and his bushies only care about money and power , he doesn't care about your friend , I'm sorry ....to say this but it's the truth ....he let thousands of young kids die in a war for absoulutely NO REASON. Except for him to look good..during war time.(everyone trusted him after 9/11 to take care of our country) instead he betrayed us by going after the WRONG GUYS, because he thought it would be esier for him to go after Sadam, and lieing about it. Instead we got this MESS in Iraq , our country has all kinds of problems left unsolved , cause all our money/focus is going to war we will NEVER win. But what is even sadder then Bush himself is these dieahard conserv/repub who still believe in him more becuase of pure politics ...then the lives and welfare of thier fellow man. That is why he won in '04 and this why through conserv/radio and other media like fox , cnn, msnbc..etc who have taken REAL news , now all have conerv/agenda platform ...sadly a Bushite appointee will win again in '08!....AMERICA WAKE-UP!

I have a friend who's grandson is over there for his 3rd time! I am upset with Bush because he just won't listen! He won't listen to the American people, he won't listen to the Generals, he won't even listen to those in his own Party. His stubbornness is costing our country many lives! I'd like to see him impeached!

Could it be that I don't speak the king's English that well, or that I was a "C" student in college and a alcoholic. Or could it be that little thing about WMD's, that was just a little white lie. I am only doing what Dick and everyone of my Neo Cons want me to do. I don't think for myself, someone does it for me.
