I don't understand government very well, but I've heard about obtaining a visa to come into America when you aren't a citizen. Maybe if the Mexican government straightened up, it's citizens wouldn't feel such a need to come over here and break a whole bunch of laws doing it.
Also, why should illegal immigrants get benefits that legal citizens can't have?

Because we American citizens are second class suckers. We as a society worry more about celebrities and American Idol than we do with our national sovereignty.
Mexicans wouldn't be coming here if we had the border armed and fortified.

Really quickly, for many countries there is no visa lottery system (the system that makes a limited number of visas available for people to immigrate legally). For example, if you're Mexican and you don't have an immediate relative who's a US citizen, and you don't have around $1,000,000 (there are certain provisions that allow high income investors to immigrate), and you don't have what's considered a unique skill that isn't possessed by a US citizen (such as a specialized medical expert--the ability to pick crops doesn't count, though it is a very difficult job), then there is no way to legally immigrate into the United States. People often say that illegal immigrants should go through the legal channels, but for many these channels don't exist.

The U.S. prostituted it's self out to become the leader of the "New World Order" - by sending jobs overseas and strengthening the countries that always end up turning on us (like the new British government) - So, in order to compete with India, Taiwan, China, and all the others - we have to accept slave wages that only the illegal immigrants are willing to take - in order to compete with this "new world economy" that we manufactured. Remember " When you hold up your middle finger at someone - there are always four fingers pointing back at you!".

For your information and everyone else's they can't!!! hear that they can't become legal in a Nation that doesn't allow them to become legal when they enter this country.
They have to be married to a US Citizen and papers sent in to the INS or the President has to have another Reformation like he did several years ago and allowed a lot of people to have the opportunity to get their hard earned money to the US Government and have their legal way here.

A better question is:
How are all of you enjoying your cheap produce, construction labor costs, restaurant food, etc...?
if immigration laws (quotas) better reflected the needs of our country's economy then these people would not be "illegals".
economics obviously excerts more pressures on immigration (legal and illegal) than any rigid set of laws. everyone wants cheap goods and services and a roaring economy. well guess what, it takes people (labor) to drive that economy and provide those goods and services, cheap.
hmmmmm. or are you anti-immigrant folks just a bunch of rascist bastards who hide behind political arguments instead of white hoods?.

Because it takes a very long time and there is no guarantee of getting in. I mean a Mexican who has no money and barely can survive do you think he has time to wait? What is he going to wait for to die??? Really think about that.

Our own American Corporations encourage and help the illegals to cross into this country illegally and when they get here , instead of obeying our laws American Church's support and aid them in staying .
We don't need any enemy from outside the US trying to destroy this country , we have plenty of them , doing it from inside American .
It's a shame they don't put Americans first !!!!!

They shouldn't. Liberals are trying to make us feel guilty that we have so much and that we owe what we have to everyone else. I don't follow foreign politics either, but either mexico is deliberatly using us, or they just aren't being responsable and we have to be responable for them.

becuase thier mentality is that this country that 'citizens' of all ethnic backrounds built,,is more thiers becuase of thier ethnic and racial rights to it
