I recently had a sex change, I was a man and am now a woman, can I still be drafted into the military? I am not gay, repeat NOT GAY but very feminine, kinda like a lesbian, and I had the sex change for reasons like the draft, I am not really cut out for a man's life, but Im not gay. Anyway, can I still be drafted into the military? If a draft was called?

There is no draft and it is unlikely to pass in the near future. However, most likely you would not be eligible.

Congrats on your transformation. I don't believe there is a draft, and if there was the easiest way out may be to say you are gay, even if you aren't.

I just watched a very emotional true story movie (Soldier's Girl) where an army guy fell in love with a man who was in the process of a sex change. He was straight and loved Calpernia Addams as a woman. Calpernia.com. Check it and the movie out if you haven't seen it. It's apparently the first movie that has protrayed transgenders in a positive and glamorous light.
Calpernia has a great website

specific... that's a qualified answer, so right here is going. mandatory conscription hasn't been part of our public coverage via fact Viet Nam. After squandering 50+ thousand lives over a "police action," individuals have been surprisingly positioned off via it. that's why this administration has resorted to utilising the "Backdoor Draft." they only save reactivating people who've already completed their hitch. concerning your question, we've seen females in uniform in international locations like Israel for some years. we've additionally been working further and further in direction of a straightforward an balanced united statesa. which does no longer segregate against people in line with race, faith, color, creed, gender, or life sort. If ever we get into yet another conflict it is so in touch that the familiar public will enable the draft to be reinstated, it is going to start up with all of us (male, woman, transitional, and unsure) between the a protracted time of 18 to 26 for enlisted people. persons with 4 3 hundred and sixty 5 days levels could quickly discover that they may be "qualified" for OCS as much as age 35. whilst it gets undesirable adequate, they are going to enhance the age limits, drop the actual well being obstacles, sparkling out the prisons, and (provided that it fairly gets desperate) commence taking wealthy toddlers.

I believe if you feel in your heart that you're a woman with all the woman parts then no you won't be drafted, because you had the sex change and I guess the "operation".

Your story isn't believeable. Sex change operations are only performed on people who are completely aware of the ramifications of the procedure. You can't just walk in off the street and get one. If you really did have a sex change you would know that someone who has had one is now legally a member of the opposite sex. Ironically, a transexual can legally marry a man but a gay man cannot.

So what your saying is You have always wanted to be a girl and your a coward...Well right now you don't have to worry since there is no draft but with an attitude like that they wouldn't want you anyway.

Please, don't waste people's time with crap like this. Nobody gets a sex change because they're "not cut out for a man's life", you have to go through months of psychological counselling to even get approval to have the surgery. There are a lot more ways to avoid the draft than getting your package cut off!!

I would think, honestly, you would never pass the mental evaluation..if you would have a sex-change to avoid a draft that doesn't exist...

Now you're a woman who likes women.
