If they want to be in Government should they not be asked to relinguish all that baggage and potential vested interests?

Yes, but unfortunately for us they have the power to prevent such a requirement from every being made.

Well, I don't know. This brings up a good point though - who of our current candidates belong to one of these organizations? That's your President. Even last election - both Bush and Kerry were from the Skull and Cross Bones. I guess that leaves Hillary out.

That's the whole point.... they only allow certain people to advance within government provided they ARE members of these societies.

The term 'democracy' is a sick joke.
