Our example?

"Still, the increasing number of clergy getting caught with their hands in the offertory is once again prompting questions about the Catholic priesthood. Not that clerical enrichment is by any means an exclusively Catholic scourge: it's hard to forget that Protestant TV evangelist Jim Bakker once defrauded his followers of $158 million. But scholars like Zech argue that the financial apparatus at Protestant churches is often "more transparent and encouraging of lay participation" than it is at Catholic parishes--where, says Hamel, some pastors still carry "an Old World attitude that what's in the collection basket is theirs personally to do with as they wish.""
How many show they love the money not the people out there who have not been caught yet? How many are just in it for the money and the power to influence government business? And if that kind of person influences government is it for the good of the people? Or is there a selfish underlining to it? It is not wrong to reason it!

Reasoning on such things is good for the people and nation of any kind worldwide! True? YES! To many just blindly follow! True? YES! Time to wake up? True? YES!

I am yet being tested but see the scenario that came upon me just for making an honest effort. And see my comment thereafter about weak efforts of church and state mix. Is that mix good for the people? Reason on it! Open minded reasoning!

Open4one (below), I like it! "Maybe they need to outsource confessionals to New Delhi by telephone." All those confessionals, does it stop people from doing those sins over and over again? No true repentants? Just words coming out of the mouth? No heart felt sadness so not to do those things again? God requires unhypocritical worship does he not? Where is that honest worship at? Are their religious leaders showing an honest example for them? Reason on that with a clear mind please!

Maybe they need to outsource confessionals to New Delhi by telephone. "Press one if you coveted. Press two if you played with yourself. Press three if you killed anyone. Say ten hail marys and don't do that anymore. "

I have known several pastors in my life and even one that failed to live a life above reproach. However, the good that the others have done will never be surpassed by the bad the one did. There are always examples of bad pastors or priests that simply seem to stick in our craw more because of their position and our expectations of what type of life they should live. They are simply human and some will fail, but I have never seen a study that shows their failures are higher than the general population.
