I am a U.S. citizen and a citizen in U.K (bcz i was born there) and I'm seventeen years old. My parents are strictly muslim, however I don't have the same beliefs. They have always forced these beliefs on me. I have performed at my high school last year (singing and dancing) with my best friend. everyone loved us so much, they are anxious to see our next performance which is in two weeks. People say I'm also very talented in writing and acting.
If my parents find out, they'll surely make me a high school dropout..or transfer me to an islamic school. Can they do that? Can they make an airplane ticket for me and take me to Bangladesh against my will and get me married? I noe there's no laws protecting me in Bangladesh. But can my parents force me to leave this country and make me skip school for months or possibly make me a high school dropout? [if anyone suggests a lawyer for me...can you tell me where to find one?] (the legal age of divorcing my parents in this state is 17)

outside my home while we were visiting a friend, my daughter was subjected to an interview conducted by CPS. I was all for it, but now I think it may have been a mistake. The caseworker decided to drop the charges against the other person, but she also asked my daughter if myself and her dad ever fight. She told them that sometimes we argue. Now they want to open a case against me for arguing in front of my children.

Now we argue ocassionally and unfortunately sometimes the kids over hear it, but does that really constitute abuse or even the need to investigate. I am appalled at how serious the orginial investigation was and how irrevelant the current one is. Does anyone know what I need to do at this point? The investigation hasn't actually started, but has been referred to a different department within CPS.

Cincinnati Police Officer's Blood-Alcohol Level Tested .08
AURORA, Ind. -- A Cincinnati police officer was jailed Thursday morning, charged with driving while intoxicated.

Charles Bebee, 53, was arrested in Aurora, Ind., around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

A police report stated that an officer spotted a sport utility vehicle moving at a high rate of speed, then a car behind the SUV stopped to tell the officer that the driver of the SUV was going to cause an accident.

The officer followed the SUV for some time before pulling it over for doing 55 in a 35 mph zone.

The report said the officer gave a field sobriety test to Bebee, who failed it. The report said Bebee consented to a chemical test, where his blood-alcohol level was determined to be .08 percent.

Police said that Bebee was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08 or higher.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving presented Bebee with a Top Cop award earlier this year.

Cincinnati police said Beebe would be assigned to desk duty, with police powers suspended, pending the outcome of his court case.http://www.wftv.com/news/13256454/detail.html

First off let me say this, I think our "Family" laywer is a dirty laywer, working for the other side. I allways thought this, but my dad is best friends with this guy (in a bisness sence, no social thing) and swears by him. Recently I got in some trouble at school, basically some one took something, then said me and him did it together. So they (school Assistant principal and Officer) started questioning me, then paused and asked my age (16 for 2 more weeks), then continued to question me, never asking if I wanted my mother or dad there, nor a lawyer.

I was at my dads talking to our "Lawyer" and I told him what I just said, about the asking my age and what not, and he said we could sue them because they cannot question a minor with out a parent, gaurdian, or lawyer there.
I persinally think he just wants me to try and sue them, so they can counter sue me for a whole list of things, and I think they hired him to get me to sue them.. so is that illegal to question me with out parent

I'm launching a new comedy website at TeleSpank.com, and in this episode I pretended to be a senile old man. In it I decided to voice my distaste for Branson, to humorous effect. So, am I allowed to say such things when I'm acting as a character? Or do I have to bleep the word "Branson" out, "to be safe"? (I'd rather not, to keep the integrity of the gag.... but I figure I should ask around...)

I think he is using crack/cocaine. I called CPS. The cops said they can't do anything-I've been through the courts a million times they don't care-he has used in the past which I told them. Sooo what the heck do I do-I'm so upset and don't know where to go anymore. State law says that it is only child abuse if child is present during manufacture of methamphetamine or phyncyclidine or if the child suffers bodily injury as result. Is this crazy or what? What happened to protection of children -Oh it's the fathers right huh?!! Please lets do something about this-only in DC is it child abuse to expose the child to drug-related activity. In 8 states it is when selling, distributing , or giving drugs or alcohol to child is child abuse. I could tell you all of them but I sure you really don't care.. I guess the laws are saying my daughter has to be physically hurt in order for it to be considered neglect..well lets hope that the state doesn't allow this to happen.

Will the world community accept any evidence that would be provided by the CIA? Would the World Court have to give it's approval and restrictions on any retaliation. If it is a terrorist attack could we retaliate against another country? What about the "innocent" civilians in that country? Will the US become a crippled blind giant?
