Libraries sometime have archives where you find newspapers for a given date.

I'm from WI there are 2 papers that seem to have merged. try jsonline. that's journal sentinel online. once there search archives. if this is wrong search online newspapers WI, there is a crapload that show up kept it handy for crooked cop stories but I just redid my hard drive. Anyway that goes by city. these papers ore ok with archive searches if I remember correctly (some require a subscription) but you are only talking about a week ago. Also keep in mind that if this is a crooked cop story that you are looking for these sometimes are only on line for a day. Another option may be to go to the library they keep things like this on file, micro fish (outdated)and disc. But once again crooked cop stories sometimes only appear on line and not in print. last resort is to run an add in the Milwaukee paper asking for a copy of your story Hope that helps

Enter your local TV station in address bar.
Go to news, there are points that you can locate dates.

For the newspaper the same thing.
Look through it and find where you go for past dates.
