White, black, indian, middle eastern, asian, men, woman, etc. We ALL have been victims of racial slur. You letting it get to you so much that you want to complain is letting the person win.

Let it roll off your back and move on. Words are not a crime. But actions are. Unless a hate crime was commited (violence, etc.) you have no case. Sorry.

Comments, unless they were made on the job should be ignored. Like the saying "Sticks and Stones". You have to learn to deal with stupid people on a daily basis. I had to deal with idiots making fun of me when I was overweight. I just let it go.

You need to clarify the situation to get a decent answer.
For instance, was this at work?
Was it a friend?
Was it the checker at the grocery store?
See what I mean? All these situations would warrant a different response.

No where, they didn't physically hurt you, so there is nothing you can do, they are protected by free speech, and if you are going to let words hurt you I suggest you toughen up. I get called pretty derogatory names all the time, but I just laugh it up, and give it right back.

Where is it written in laws that you have the right not to be ever offended? Grow up and stop whining like a little school girl!

You are the racist for thinking they were racial comments. Racism wouldn't exist if there were no victims so grow a pair and get over it.

Are that at work? School?

If it doesn't affect you in a tangible way - I don't think you need to worry about it.

There will always be stupid people out there - let them wallow in their ignorance.
