outside my home while we were visiting a friend, my daughter was subjected to an interview conducted by CPS. I was all for it, but now I think it may have been a mistake. The caseworker decided to drop the charges against the other person, but she also asked my daughter if myself and her dad ever fight. She told them that sometimes we argue. Now they want to open a case against me for arguing in front of my children.
Now we argue ocassionally and unfortunately sometimes the kids over hear it, but does that really constitute abuse or even the need to investigate. I am appalled at how serious the orginial investigation was and how irrevelant the current one is. Does anyone know what I need to do at this point? The investigation hasn't actually started, but has been referred to a different department within CPS.

In reply to the red flag. The red flag was the fact that my daughter said we argued, in which the caseworker stated that she disagreed with CPS policies in this state on this issue.
I also would like to say that with any disagreement there is a resolution. So, how would my children learn to resolve their disageements if they never see it?
