You can have all the attorneys that will fit in a courtroom. It's a good way to dispose of extra income.

Second attorney won't change the fact you have a problem with a DUI charge,does it?
If the first atty is as dumb as you are, maybe a 2nd attorney is a good idea.

Yes, but the court is only going to listen to one attorney, even if you have two hired. Also your contract with the 1st may prohibit you from hiring a 2nd lawyer if you still wish to have his services.

That depends upon the agreement you have with the first attorney. It may be possible, but it would not be cost effective to do that!
