I have a few questions on child support...I am on welfare receiving about 360$ a month, my baby is due in about 4 weeks, I have a fiance in which we both want his name on the birth certificate, and the baby to take his last name, but was wondering how and if that could work if a different person was the biological father and I received child support. Whos name do I put on the birth certificate? If I did receive child support from the guy, what kind of rights would he have to see the child? I dont want him to have any, he is a complete pshyco and has done time for stalking an ex gf and he continues to stalk and badger me and my fiance. Also, how much would he have to pay? I dont know if it would be worth the extra money if he had any kind of rights alone with my child. Would there be any way I could receive child support and have a restraining order?I really dont want anything happening that could be prevented, he is a total creep and I do not trust him around me, my fiance,or my child.

I know there are several candidates in each party participating in debates; I also know they will hold primaries in each party. But, are the primary vote counts exclusively what determines who gets the nod or does each party have some governing body which has the final say?

Let's face it, folks! There are hypocrites of ALL political stripes, so we might as well get used to the fact and stop focusing on each other's hypocrisies!

On June 14-16 next month there will be marches Nation wide AGAINST illegal immigration. They are not objecting to legal immigration, just the illegals. They are asking for our government to follow our present laws and deport illegals. To obtain citizenship you must follow our Constitution which requires you to apply legally, wait your turn, learn the English language, put down your flag and take up OURS. ITS TIME FOR US TO DEMAND THESE RIGHTS. www.lframerica.com/march2.html is the site that explains which towns the demonstrations by and for Americans will be held. If your town is not listed, help get groups involved. If you can make it to one of the marches, DO SO. If you can get Biker clubs involved in having bike runs flying our flag, please help. If you can do none of the above, at least fly your flag on these days to show your support for the cause, and wear red white and blue on these days. Call your local news stations to request information on the marches. Most of all, copy this

Is this for the best? If they were to actually join the army, they would be a liability to the rest of the GIs, right? While their unit was taking enemy fire and trying to keep their heads down, those natural male cheerleaders would feel the urge to stand up, start jumping up and down shaking their pom-poms, and chant "Go team! Go team!" They would give away their unit's position and get everyone killed.

So in the end, it's good that they have an extreme fear of the military recruiter and never enlist, right?

I just read an article on the rise of Honor Suicides. This article brought out that instead of Honor Killings Women & Girls are instead pressured to kill themselves.
Have you had any experience with this? How do you feel about it?

One of the kindest Conservatives has quit Y/A because he couldn't see any rhyme or reason to being called names and being given hateful answers to innocent questions . His name is Buzz , and he just lost his 45 year old brother the other day .
I've tried to show everyone, the damage that can be done with name-calling and insults, but apparently several just don't receive the message . You guys can bash me all you want. . . AFTER you answer the damm question, but he's witnessed and we've all witnessed the name-callers and professional insulters DO NOT EVER answer the damm question . Those are the people making this site less than what it could be . And those are the people fully responsible for driving other good people away from here . Amongst other things, I think one of the straws that broke the camel's back was when he tried to get people to stop calling each other names and he got responses that said it was 'fun' .

BTW, note that I asked 'Liberal name-callers' , not all liberals

The illegal immigrant lobby does not understand the anger of reasonable Americans for one simple reason. They do not respect the US as a nation. The illegals that come here truly feel the US is not a real country, that it is like some sort of Walmart/Disneyworld, we are just here to serve whoever comes along. Some have stated (on the spanish language forums) that we are not a culture, we are just Mcdonalds and MTV, that our language is not a language. They freely refer to us as North Americans, or United Statesians, because they do not respect the name of our country. When they fly their flags here, they cannot comprehend why we would be offended, because to them, we do not have any reason to have national pride. They see nation in terms of race and since we are not one race, we have no reason to have a union. Since we are not a nation, we have no culture, we have no reason to excluce anyone.

Can this basic lack of respect be overcome or are they terminally ignorant?

I know he doesn't control the price of crude, but he can take action to ensure the people he works for (the citizens of the USA) aren't being ripped off by unscrupulous oil companies.

And I'm not saying ALL oil companies are unscrupulous.

Should he investigate to make sure there isn't price-gouging?

So why do people continue to scream that the President is not listening to the people? In our form of government elected officials are elected and then are supposed to do what they believe is the right thing.

Are these people who want the president to listen to the people, do they want to change our form to a direct democracy?

If that is so, would they like to put things up to popular vote such as abortion, school vouchers, taxes, social security, definition of marriage, term limits on congress, environmental laws, hate crime law and on and on?

I believe the people screaming today about the President only want a direct democracy when it serves their partisan interests but would not like AMericans voting on other issues.

Just curious, really, I am.

I'd like to hear some serious opinions on the matter, and why you think so. Is pot more dangerous than alcohol? Should it be legal and what would the repercussions be to society? Is it more of a "gateway drug" than alcohol?

The Atomic Bomb used on Japan in WW2? Allied bombs used in such campaigns as Dresden in WW2? Or something more unremarkable such as the Kalashnikov AK47, which has been in use for decades in probably every conflict since it was invented, or machine guns used in the trenches in WW1?

Look at the crime, poverty, toll on precious natural resources. These people can get welfare, drivers' licences and other government services while not having paid taxes to them. I believe both parties,Demos and Repubs or pro immigration because they can get cheap labor or because they potentially represent future votersw of the democratic party.Wait a minute, what's the real difference between the two 'parties' anyhow,They don't represent the average americans anymore,if they ever really did in the first place.

AMES, Iowa (Reuters) - Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney on Wednesday criticized a remark about Mormons by the Rev. Al Sharpton and described it as "bigoted" and "un-American."

Sharpton, a civil rights leader, said during a New York debate on faith on Monday that "those that really believe in God" would defeat Romney, a Mormon, in the 2008 race for the White House.
