Will there be a real choice, or just two sides of the same old tired political coin (or should I say "con")?

If I had to take a guess at the ticket it would be:

Edwards/Richardson defeating McCain/Hunter

Edwards is a good man that will do amazing things for this country.

Politics is something that I have watched since the 50's. It has been tweedle dee and tweedle dum since Kennedy stole the election from Nixon. Then whn Nixon got it he screded everything up. From there it has been little choice. The Senate and the House have run things into the ground. I am far from a Bush supporter but he has proven to be stronger then the whole legislative arm.
If Congress and the Senate were to change, no President would have that kind of power, but as long as they do not look past their next election, we are stuck.
Rarely in my experience, has a president made a huge difference. Either side will say or do what they want or need to get elected.

Which one is Tweedledum - Obama?
That leaves Tweedledee - Hillary?

I hear ya! It's the same ol' mess, being spewed by the same ol' people, seeking the same ol' self-gratification.

But if I had my way, I'd pick Hillary. For me, I think it's high-time we had a little estrogen in the White House! And at least she's capable of giving a speech without sounding like an inbred leprechaun. (I think we all know to whom I am referring). LOL :P

I keep hoping that some "real" person will throw a hat into the ring. I am so sick of the good ol' boys club. None that are running for either party appeal to me. So once again it will be voting for the lesser of two evils.

I would like to be optimistic and believe that Ron Paul will (with overwhelming grassroots support) continue to be recognized more (because the media will eventually be forced to recognize him) and win the Republican nomination.
Ron Paul is NOT your usual politician. He is often the only no vote in the whole House of Representatives because if something goes against the US Constitution he will vote against it,even if he is the only one.

After this President it will take at least 8 years before our Country recovers.

We should remember not to expect the next President whoever he/she will be to perform miracles.

Yes, as usual it will be the choice between which con artist is slightly less worrisome than the other.

"When I think of one I prefer the other."
