This has happened to a few friends of mine:

They were doing nothing wrong, maybe going a BIT too fast but nothing outrageous. Didn't realize they were being pulled over because they were driving down their OWN street pulling into THEIR OWN driveway, and the cop was way down the street. (or something of that sort) when the cop pulled into their driveway, when they were already out of their cars about to walk into the house... When the cop starts screaming at them to get back into the car and put their keys into the igition. So of course they did, but is that legal?

We only hear about the deaths in Iraq but what about the soldiers who are injured physically and mentally?

sf chronicle----Few saw it coming, but six years into combat in Iraq and Afghanistan, health care providers are overwhelmed by the demand of returning veterans suffering from mental health stress or traumatic brain injury.

Few understood the financial impact war would have on the Veterans Affairs medical system, projected by a Harvard economist's study earlier this year to be as much as $600 billion.

When the terrorists responded with a surge of their own? I thought that was called 'emboldening the terrorists'? I thought that was why we couldn't have benchmarks...it announces to the enemy what our plan is...so, how is this any different?

An expert report warning that the long-term health of Iraq's civilian population would be endangered by British and US depleted uranium (DU) weapons has been kept secret. The study by three leading radiation scientists cautioned that children and adults could contract cancer after breathing in dust containing DU, which is radioactive and chemically toxic. But it was blocked from publication by the World Health Organisation (WHO), which employed the main author, Dr Keith Baverstock, as a senior radiation advisor. He alleges that it was deliberately suppressed, though this is denied by WHO.

Check it out.

The Democrats of today are not the Democrats of the past...For example JFK. I am not a huge JFK fan but there is no comparison between someone like JFK and lets say ...Nancy Pelosi, or Harry Reid, or Hillary Clinton...Times have changed.

I live in Missouri. I was issued a ticket for driving 44 mph in a 30 mph zone. I drive this road everyday. It is a 40 mph zone but the officer insisted otherwise. He even told me where he clocked me at and it is in the 40 mph zone. Is there anything I can do?

Today: "One message I have heard from people of both parties is that benchmarks make sense and I agree," Bush said.

He AGREES? Last week, he thought that setting deadlines emboldens the enemy and increases the danger to Americans.

What happened???

Did he allow himself to get bullied? And if he did, is he the right man for the job?

I need to find out where I can research a company called alpine logistics inc.

They offered my girlfriend a work at home oppurtunity. They said she would be receiving packages from the states, asia and europe. Then shipping them to a third party to the same locations. Is this legal?

She has received one package that contains a Ipod and was shipped directly to her from Apple Corp. Alpine logistics inc will provide her with us postal labels (they were sent Fedex to her)

They also said they would pay her $30 for each package using Paypal ...what do you think ? How can I check if this is legit????

defending THEIR country? Forget your party allegiance, this has nothing to do with that. Cheney is over there to tell them that this is unacceptable. Do you think they'll listen? And if they don't how should the United States deal with this slap in the face?

As a young moderately conservative male, I would like to speak of how the conservative movement held hostage by certain groups in this country. Firstly I am not a religious person, I vote the brain, not the Bible. It angers me how the Republican Party, has sold their soul to the religious right for votes. I feel that if Republicans would stop pandering to the religious right we could gain a wide circle of acceptance. The God fearing people of this great nation will still have a choice on such moral issues like abortion and gay marriage and the choice to support said platform would be entirely of the candidates discretion, but would be from conscious, not consensus, i.e. you don’t need to believe in God to think that abortion represents a failure of the person/community/nation. I think this is most evident in the refusal of many conservatives in power to try and discredit evolution, something the Republicans need to learn to live with or face serious consequences. Secondly, morality need not come from the Bible. I may be 20yrs old, but I can tell you I find the level of debauchery and hedonism to be at epic proportions. I find the so-called “leaders” my generation has anointed our spokesmen, to be committing genocide on the minds of our nation’s youth. What do you think?
