she is the WRONG candidate
for several reasons. She is too easy of a target for the nut right. All of the so called anti Clinton b.s. will be aired 24-7 on right wing radio. Kooks one, Dick Morris, is already making an anti Hillary documetary. Sadly, just enough middle of the road voters will fall for it. The religious right will go nuts. Like Jerry Fallwell said, "Nothing will fire up our base more than Hillary Clinton."
The other problem Hillary has is with blue collar men. The union shop workers in Ohio, and elsewhere, love their guns more than they love their jobs. They see Hillary as a gun grabber. Even if it isn't true, the label will stick. In almost all recent presidential elections, the Republican's have owned the men's vote.
The next problem is with the south. Democrats have a real chance in the south this time if they nominate someone who is perceved as "moderate." Hillary will be lucky to poll 35% of the vote anywhere in the south. Also the Democrats are making inroads in the mountain west because we are presenting these candidates that are percieved moderates. Even though they are wrong, Hillary Clinton will always be a wild eyed "leftist" in the eyes of millions.
Hillary will badly hurt many of the new Congress people from the south like Heath Shuler.
Not of offend anyone here, but I think Hillary will not only lose, she will take the new Democratic Congress down with her. That is why I am strongly for Joe Biden.
Obama is ok but also think when it gets right down to it, America will not yet elect a black President. Obama might be a good VP. Yet, as dumb as it sounds, his Islamic sounding name will hurt him. Like we saw with the Swift Boaters, a lot of misinformed people will believe whatever they hear on talk radio. There will be real smears claiming Obama has had "radical Islamic training." It has already begun.
The Democrats have a chance now to create a new majority. This will only happen if we nominate somoene that the righties can't paint as "outside the mainstream

I fail to see how this quote should affect my support for Hillary Clinton. I'm sure he was obsessed, so was Bush. The difference was that Clinton opted for containment and Bush did not. When Bush invaded Iraq, he found, much to his dismay I'm sure, that containment had found some success. To not be concerned with terrorism and Al Queda would be much stranger in my opinion. Hillary's made it very clear that she intends to go after terrorists tooth and nail. I have NO problem with that.

"Obsessed by terrorism... and AL Qaeda", that means obsessed about arming them and fighting on their side. Doesn't it?

I dont really give a rats a$$ about her opinions on her husband.
I thought Bill Clinton was a decent President. Its unfair to demonize him the way people do.
That being said, I wouldnt vote for Hillary if you put a gun to my head. I dont trust anyone whos that slick and smug in everything they do. Not to mention that she disgusts me in the way that she runs her campaign.

Absolutely not. I am doing my best to help Ron Paul win the Republican Nomination so they the Republicans will have (if Ron Paul wins the nomination) the best candidate against her.

Uh...no. But, to be honest, I still wouldn't want her as president even if she'd never said that.
Golden: It shows that her judgement is either off or skewed. In either case, I really don't want someone who is either blatantly dishonest or cannot discern reality as president....do you?

if he was so "obsessed" by terrorism and Al Qaida, then why did he refuse to take bin Laden when the Sudanese offered him up? she can't even tell believable lies!

i honestly do not like anyone in the white house or anyone who is running for the president .. hilary has way too many demons in her closet including Foster's death. it has nothing to do with sex but a lot to do with their money.
