She is America's famous celebrity and socialite... She is a role model for our teenage girl and the dreamgirl for boys. She brings glamour and excitement into our otherwise mundane life... Should we go to that website and sign the petition so that the symbol of America is free again?!

I was traveling in the left lane of a highway when a school bus stopped in the right lane with red flashers and stop sign. I came to a full stop. A semi was barreling down on me probably at 70 MPH. The driver screeched brakes and his load started swaying badly. He would have hit me and the bus if I had stayed there. I decided to pass the bus to get out of the semi's way because he was endangering lives. For about 200 yards past the bus the semi driver was in the left shoulder trying to slow down enough to not hit me as I was accelerating from a complete stop. I got into the right lane as soon as I could even though it meant missing my left turn ahead. I just had to get out of his way.

My opinion: Only the semi driver should have gotten a ticket because we were on a straight road with miles of visibility ahead. He should have seen the bus flashers and my car and been ready to come to a complete stop, but he couldn't have even stopped 200 yards past the bus.

This happened in a small town near where I live. A bus driver was taking kids home from school when she smelled pot. She stopped the bus and asked them to confess. No one would. So she sat back in her seat and drove to the police station where they searched everyone on the bus. They found 3 knives, the pot, cigarettes, and lighters. Now some of the girls, who are about 12 years old, are saying that their rights were violated. Their parents are really upset about it. How would you feel if this was your child?

If we had a law with NO exceptions, that anyone found drunk driving (.08+) looses their licence with NO forgiveness of returning their driver's licence PLUS driving on a revoked licence would carry a MINIMUM of 6 months house arrest time (no house, time for prison) ADD to that your car is immediately impounded and your car insurance cancelled not to ever be reinstated. Do you think people would think BEFORE they drink?

Too many people die on the roads from drunk driving, it seem that the lives that are lost are no incentive for people to get a cab. Perhaps if you jepordize their ability to get to work and their freedom with swift and harsh punishment, spending $50 bucks on a cab isn't so bad.

Lesser offenses would allow car insurance to cancel you.
What do you think about this idea?

... as they tell how the 6 terrorists were discovered in New Jersey.

Is the press taking care of us or trying to get us killed?

The FBI captured 6 terrorists in New Jersey planning to kill soldiers at Ft. Dix. Kudos FBI.
My question is: under the new Patriot Act, will these terrorists be brought to trial, or simply held as enemy combatants until their bones decay?
I maybe a liberal minded person, but I simply don't believe the individual rights granted under the constitution should be extended to those people who wish to destroy our country. I would hate to see these terrorists go to trial and set free on some technicality.
Does not the president now have the power to lock these people up and throw away the key?
What are your thoughts? Do these terrorists deserve a day in court, or should the president decide their fate?

At what point does are debt become unsustainable? 15 trillion? 20 trillion? What happens if we lose US dollar hegemony and oil is bought with the Euro? What happens when foreign investment dries up because our Central Bank has been printing currency as if it were monopoly money and inflates the heck out of it?

Will all this happen by accident?

they're always trying to fakely fool people like they're really being equal harassing celebs, come on, guess because celeb doesn't mean have high level corrupt connections, these wealthy girls in houston (harris county, last name Dunn) convicted of armed robbery gave probation and have to shelve books in a/c library and tutor, how come they don't mow lawns? like a david medina corrupt district judge put by rick perry and bush failed breathalyzer fake trial and dropped case; also a fed issue, robert blake's attorney even said county jails worse conditions and rights (worse for health, fed issue) than state and federal pens (hot checks worse crime than state or fed felonies), as anyone knows if Paris Hilton was related to a corrupt cop (child, relative or friend) wouldn't have even been charged as well as jailed, cops' kids worst delinquents and drug dealers (pushers) and notorious criminal offenders, that's a proveable fact
