She was hit while in her parked car and suffered whiplash. She must do therapy about 3 times a week and she's suffering from depression because she can't sleep due to pain and she's getting migraines more often. She's very stressed and often hurting! She's being wooed by many, many lawyers but hasn't taken any steps yet towards a lawsuit. If she does, how much could she expect to get, assuming it's settled out of court, which I would guess will be what happens. ??

I was wondering, after reading this article, just what liberties the French people have regarding freedom of speech, assembly, etc. This sore loser Socialist leader, Royale, seemed to threaten France with inciting riots if she lost, and low and behold, she lost, and they are rioting, isn't she responsible for inciting this unrest? It's almost like she dared the French people not to vote for her - or else, and now the or else is happening, directed by her?

I could see if they jailed her or something, or if they smeared her all over the place, after she lost, or something that warranted rioting, but just because your side lost the election, you don't riot - that isn't what "civilized" people do anyway. You can demonstrate, you can assemble and use the system, but when you set fire to the UMP offices, schools, cars, etc. you just look like sore loser thugs, which clearly, they are.

today a cobra gunship blew away a schoolhouse because it got fire from there--killing 7, 7yo kids.

Actually, why would any state, liberal or conservative, have a law requiring any retailer to sell gasoline or any product at a certain markup ?

I can understand having a law saying they cannot sell for less than wholesale.

Thats product dumping, we have certain asian countries who do that. They sell products in the US for less than it cost them to make the products, to try and gain market share and drive competitors out of business.

This is sort of ironic...

AARP and the NAACP are teaming up with Republicans to fight against Democrats' desires to cut funding for Medicare Advantage programs.

The Dems say that the Medicare Advantage programs cost too much. Oddly, that money is helping the poor elderly and a lot of poor blacks.

There are over 200,000 elderly people in each of the following BLUE states that will be hurt if Dems cut Medicare Advantage --- Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New Jersey.

It's funny to see the Dems try to convince the elderly and blacks to give up the help they are getting with medical bills.

Do you think Pelosi and Hillary and Kerry will tell the NAACP and AARP to get lost? I don't.

Would you tell your date that if she didn't show definite signs of "putting out" towards the end of the evening, that you were going to stop buying her appetizers, stop buying her drinks, and that you were giving her until 10:30pm to show some progress or else you were going home?

Would you tell your football team that unless they started scoring some touchdowns that you're going to take away their helmuts & pads, then tell the other team that you're walking off the field at the end of the 3rd quarter unless your team scored some points?

So why then would you give our troops until the end of Summer to improve the situation in Iraq or else you're cutting their funding? Why then would you let our enemies in Iraq know that unless we have the war won by October, that we're packing up and going home?

How does ANY of this make ANY sense at all??????

Currently, the President is constitutionally limited to two terms. Neither house of Congress is limited.

Should either be term limited? Should both? Neither?

I was originally going to ask people to choose only limiting both or limiting neither, but that seemed too restrictive a question.

Should federal judges be term-limited too?

you are preparing for trial and must select a jury for a domestic violence case. What kind of jurors are you trying to eliminate or perhaps prevent the other side from eliminating from the jury panel? you can argue from the prosecutor's and/or defense attorney's perspective.

Doesn't he realize that the way the war was directed by "neo-cons chickenhawks" is one of the reason why things are failing-disbanding the army-not enough troops-persecution of ALL baathist many who were just public servants-leaving the borders basically ignored for a couple of years-the guy had a chance to fight (5) times and he deferred-but ya know he is representative of alot of Repiubs (not all)-hope he moves to Dubai along with Halliburton.

it makes me mad to hear sbout immmigrants demanding more "rights". this is B.S.!!!! my family are immigrants too, but we are LEGAL immigrants. we struggled so much and it took my family well over TEN years and THOUSANDS of dollars to get a green card!!!! what about the ones just who just arrived??? arent they going to wait?? i have also seen MANY immigrant women who have so many babies and they live on welfare. illegal immigrants get so many benefits and they still complain!!!!! i know this family who has five daughters and each of them has no job, they each have five kids(all born in America) and they are living the life!!! i have NEVER in my life seen a white person discriminate against any immigrant. they dont like working in he fields? too bad, thats life. its not america's fault that their country's economy is crap and that is has a corrupt government. My family worked in the fields too and they didnt complain!! MY FAMILY, TO THIS DAY, IS GRATEFUL TO THIS GREAT COUNTRY.
