it makes me mad to hear sbout immmigrants demanding more "rights". this is B.S.!!!! my family are immigrants too, but we are LEGAL immigrants. we struggled so much and it took my family well over TEN years and THOUSANDS of dollars to get a green card!!!! what about the ones just who just arrived??? arent they going to wait?? i have also seen MANY immigrant women who have so many babies and they live on welfare. illegal immigrants get so many benefits and they still complain!!!!! i know this family who has five daughters and each of them has no job, they each have five kids(all born in America) and they are living the life!!! i have NEVER in my life seen a white person discriminate against any immigrant. they dont like working in he fields? too bad, thats life. its not america's fault that their country's economy is crap and that is has a corrupt government. My family worked in the fields too and they didnt complain!! MY FAMILY, TO THIS DAY, IS GRATEFUL TO THIS GREAT COUNTRY.

I agree with you. I don't mind immigrants being here that are here legally. But if someone cannot abide by our laws enough to become a legal resident, then they obviously don't respect our laws. I am also a child of immigrants on both sides--my mother's side was from Wales and my father's side was from Russia and Finland. They came here legally and respected America's laws. Anyone who respects America's laws DESERVES America's rights but the the people that are disrespectful deserve to be punished for breaking our laws instead of embraced as citizens.

I am also very sick and disgusted with Illegal Aliens there not immigrants there Aliens. We need leadership that will uphold our laws and let's pray aminesty doesn't happen that will be the end of it. I can go on and on about it, I will however make some key points. 1. Liberal media spewing a bunch of b.s. come on people wake up. 2. Crime rates % of illegal aliens vs prison populations. There are more illegal aliens in the jails as a % when comparing other populations, in general terms of course. 3. Health care. You think it's expensive now, just wait. 4. Foreign diseases being brought in to country. 5. American jobs being taken by illegal aliens. 6. Anchor babies. This is my short list, put that all together and you start to see the bigger picture I hope I have opened some peoples eyes. By the way I am not hating on anyone just telling like it is. If you come to this great country LEGALLY I welcome you with open arms. In closing all that are here in this country LEGALLY how does it feel to be a second class citizen? Let's take this great country back and get some legislation passed to get this serious issue taken care of. I apologize for the long post but this is a serious hot button for me.

It's the racists making it a racist issue. Illegals are 'victim' (and I use that term very loosely) of the 'I want it NOW!!!!' complex. They don't want to do it the right way, apply and wait, just like a million people each year. They don't care that their way of doing things is illegal, immoral and only bites the hand that feeds them. With too many coming over each year that means the resources to help people gets thinned out each year, making it harder for the average, hardworking legal to earn a living and support their family because more of our paycheck is going towards taxes to provide these people that feel they deserve it more then the people who work for it.

I am all for certain things that would be considered 'communist' which really aren't. National Health care for all citizens, but I am against amnesty. It only gives the message that you will be rewarded for breaking the law.

We fought a war in 1842 against these people and we won. Now they are trying to crawl across our borders and take over. I am sick of them. My son and I run a remodeling company. We demand that they show legal documentation. I think that is meaningless. They know how to get forged documents. This past week I gave a bonus to one of them because he did a good job. His name is Freddie. He has no car. I went to pick him up yesterday, and he was not at the donut shop. I am quite sure that he got drunk. Hw did not call. He is not an illegal. He is a first generation American. We go through this all of the time. They say that they are here to work, and yet, they do not. There are too many of them. They need to go home. I am determined to find some people who are American, and not Hispanic.

Illegal aliens are totally ridiculous in their demands! Why they think they can make demands, I have no idea? People like your family are respected by most Americans for following protocol and doing things the legal way. It's not hispanics that I have a problem with, It's the illegals who seem to think that this country owes them freedom as we don't. I believe that if you are born to illegals, you should also be considered an illegal. But not only hispanic illegals, I want all the rabble rousing, America hating, illegals from everywhere tossed out of this country as they are dragging us down into the mire in which they were spawned.

So, tell me, what are you doing to stop this illegal immigration? How many letters have you written to your elected officials? How many reports have you made about the welfare fraud and illegal immigrants residing in your neighborhood? How many demonstrations have you organized against illegal immigration? How many pictures have you taken of them and sent to ICE? How many reports have you made to the FBI about those who hire, harbor and help illegal immigrants? How many complaints have you made to the employers and landlords? How many products have you boycotted? Complaining doesn't get the job done. Take Action! -- There are many legal acts you can take to stop illegal immigration. Demand that your local law enforcement be given ICE aurhority to enforce immigration laws. Demand that they have to show identification. Demand that they not be given driving certificates or free education or any other benefits. If you don't fight for your country, they'll take it away!

I feel the same way, I am a legal immigrant myself. It took me over ten years to get me a green card with legal systems. I hate those illegals who think they have the right just because so many of them here.

They think they work hard here and should be given a green card? Screw that, I work hard since I came here and work hard to get my green card. I don't think it's fair to anybody including US Citizens to just give them green card.

I agree with you 100%!!!!!!!!!! How dare they try to cut to the front of the line.

My husband is also a legal immigrant. His family waited and came here legally.

What has really sicken me this last week is LA's Mayor and Chief of Police continuously apologizing. Yes, I agree the police went overboard BUT the fact that these two men have had a news conference everyday to apologize is ridiculous. Then Antonio (the Mayor) does his speech in English then does it all over again in Spanish. WTH this is America he is an American Mayor. Why is he giving a news conference in Spanish??

Its good to hear the truth once in awhile. I applaud your candor. I agree that illegal aliens don't deserve any rights in this nation except the right to be treated humanely as they are being deported. I love this country,America the beautiful.

Tera this is the USA and YES we CAN do something about it

MH/ I do all you speak of and more. I don't sit back and let things happen.I'm very active in my city, county and my nations government.

If people in this Nation would pay attention to facts they would see that any rights given to illegals are non-existent. The rights guaranteed by the Constitution apply to US citizens period. this is also true of those being held in GET-MO. they have NO RIGHTS under the Constitution!!! Not a speedy trial, a lawyer, NOTHING these rights are for American citizens!!!!!!
For those of you who came here LEGALLY I welcome and salute you.
