All this harping on about how China is becoming so powerful when in reality the only reason for high GDP is because of overpopulating the planet with a 1.3 billion populous and making them work in swaet shops for next to nothing. So should Europe and America be following this gleaming example of capitalist thinking from the few for the few. It seems capitalists require huge work forces to make more profit for them while forsaking the very people its supposed to be helping.

I still havent detected 1 ounce of regret from any lib for supporting a guy who was a few states away from the presidency and turned out to be anti-american.

Moreover, Ive never even heard an acknowledgment that he was wrong!

Was he libs?

If I was President, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I'd done the things Bush has done.

Could you?

(And yes, extremist right-wingers, I know YOU could.)

In my government class students are required to do a report and presentation on a topic of there choice. I chose "reverse discrimination" which is
Dictionary definition - Discrimination against members of a dominant or majority group, especially when resulting from policies established to correct discrimination against members of a minority or disadvantaged group.

Law dictionary definition - A term referring to the practice of excluding a classification or race of people who have not been historically discriminated against, usually whites, from positions that are made available exclusively to persons or groups that have traditionally been the subject of discrimination, or who otherwise benefit from affirmative action programs. The term has been applied to the practice of reserving positions for minorities in school admissions programs, corporate promotions, and rehiring of blacks with less job seniority than whites.

Yeah, I was just curious what other people think about it

I say a little of both. They have a fear of losing their culture, yet are arrogant enough to think that the US shoould cater to their linguistsic needs.
Here is an article that agrees with me in regards to their fears:

So some local bum cop gave me a parking ticket for parking in a 2 hour zone. It's in a neighborhood close to my school, but I'm not bothering anyone and i'm wayy in the corner and not in front of anyones house. Ticket is for 20 bucks and honestly the local country is rich enough, so i'm planning NOT to pay. I heard Obama had a ton of parking tickets as well. So if I just compleatly ignore it what will happen?

When we're told all day, every day that it's Clinton's fault!

And what Clinton wasn't able to ruin, is then liberals' fault!

There's clearly not enough fault to go around.

That's just like Bush...trying to hog all the fault!

When the Dems offered him money with strings for pullout, he said the troops cant have the money. He was unpatriotic by not giving troops money. Now, I see what he meant. It was just political. Maybe he had a point in vetoing it and STILL saying he was "Patriotic". See this: http://rawstory.com/news/afp/Bush_vows_second_Iraq_veto_05092007.html
This money has no strings attached, just they need a second vote to release more funds. Gates says: A "No" vote would be catastrophic. Doesnt this just mean Bush has an incentive for PROGRESS? Isnt him saying "Its not fair that I only get the money if the war is WORKING! I should get money for a failing war!" Really just rejecting a reasonable argument? It is reasonable, so HE is now denying troops funds. Isnt HE the "Terrorist" and "Flag-Burner" by not giveing troops the money?

Yesterday The Tennessean, Nashville TN's Newspaper posted a list on their website of everyone in the state who had a concealed weapons permit. They published both the names and the addresses of these people. After many complaints, they quickly withdrew their post and acted like it never happened. This is a form of data flashing IMO, and feel like it is an invasion of privacy. What say ye?

The chance that you and I get killed by a terriorist is still way less than getting killed by automobile acidents...not to mention all sorts of health related problems and disease. People need to be afraid of the real threats not some radicals that live half way around the world.

I have a boss who has sent questionable "racey" emails in the past. ex.....
She sent an email that is referencing why "african american mexican, jewish, asian and other minorities have support groups, ex NAACP. Some of you have probably seen the email, I think it is titled "YOU ARE CALLING ME A RACIST? The whole email compares these groups and how minorities would feel if there were "white groups and such" and how would we feel. The point is, it does not matter on how she feels about the groups and their support system, what DOES BOTHER me is she is a "manager" (not a co-worker on the same level) who sent this to our dept as if it was appropriate, I voiced my feelings already to her and she apologized, then turned around a week or so later and sent ANOTHER questionable email, she does not get it! This is discrimination and we do work for a well known nationwide company. What is your input on this? I start boiling everytime I think about it!

Hanging Sadam before they learned from him on how to govern this country?
How many car bombs a day did explode during his time?
How many suicide bombers did blow themself up at his time?
How many people would be dumped, having their throught cut?
Yes, I know that he was a brutal dictator, but maybe he did know something we should have asked him before the hanging.
We also could ask one of the democratic Staates around this area on how they run their Country, like.....(I can't remember their name)
Is it possible that our logic will not work down there?

Ah, yes....... lets review.

Bush takes office and soon a bunch of peach loving Muslims kill thousands of Americans....... Bush's Fault.

Bush gets intelligence from our CIA, the Russians, the British and, yes, even those fun loving French, that the Taliban is behind it and that Saddam has WMD's.... So, everyone reads the reports and votes to go to war... even Dem's... Bush's fault.

Now we are trying to stabilize a Middle Eastern country and keep Iran from getting the bomb so that they can kill all Infidels and push the Jews into the sea.... Bush's fault.

That wacky peace lover in N. Korea whats the bomb.... Bush's fault.

God, what a horrible President!

With the rise of big-box retailors, the business climate for local retailers and producers seems dim. The big boxes provide prices that can't be beat. Chain restaurants can advertise aggressively to the detriment of equally-priced higher-quality local restaurants. Farmers' Markets offer higher-quality fresher produce at lower prices than the supermarket, yet people still buy at the grocer. How can more people be convinced that they can get better-quality products and help support their local communities at the same time?

last night i was visiting a friend, a fellow furre as myself. i went to thier house in my wolf costume and nothing underneath. anyway it takes a long time to get to the house. as i was driving back i had to use the restroom BADLY not having any place else to go i went inside of a Publix and decided to look for one there. just so you know(i dont have any pix so ill just describe it)my wolf suit looks just like a regular mascot costume but with bra-cups underneath to look like a chest. no clothes but nothing i would consider bad anyway. i guessed they would just think i was a mascot for a team or something.. but shortly after leaving the bathroom i was being questioned by the police in front of the store! he said ppl had been complaining about me. then he asked for my name and i seriously dont know what came over me but i said "Makoto Whitefang" to make it short i was charged w/ lying to an officer (my name) and they said my costume was indecent! i have to go to trial soon.is that fair??

Amazing! I walk up.....shake the hand of the owner of the vehicle that has a magnet saying "I support the troops" and I once again ask him "Let me take your 18 year old son to the Marine recruiter" and right on the spot I get that "I just saw a being from outer space look". Why the look? Why not "Thank you! I want my son to fight for Bush". Why the look of "Beings from outer space and the "sucking lemons look"? Why do the war supporters hate me. I'm trying to help them.

I think in the past 20 years this country has seriously gone downhill. These days everyone is all "gay marriage is good, drugs are bad, promiscuous sex is bad, your right to smoke ends where my nose begins, wa wa wa" Everything is so centrally controlled and we seem to be becoming the Soviet Union controlling every other country in the world with no concern for the people who live there. The media no longer reports the truth, just what the gov't decides to let them print. Everything is a big business run by greedy fat republican voters who care about nothing but $$ and succumb to any ******** interest group that raises a pinky. While at the same time, people are doing less drugs, and are all paranoid about the effects of drugs and second hand smoke but eat mcdonalds and sit on their asses all day without exercising. And the country has become almost as sexually repressed as it was during the 1950s and prior. I say we need another revolution like the 60s. Who agrees

Surely the METS staff know that a visibly drunk man is a danger to others and should be removed. But on the other hand the man shouldn't have gotten himself intoxicated.
