It shouldn't bother us. Hussein or Hussain is just very common in his ethnic background. It isn't just a last name like Hitler is; it's a first or middle one, too, the way Albert or something can be, so it's used a lot.
The thing with Hitler is that many of us know of only one person by that name - infamous Adolf. But people still name their kids Jeffrey after we saw Jeffrey Dahmer, without making any connection, because there are just so many Jeffreys. One bad one shouldn't always ruin it for the rest. The American people might think of one guy when they think of Hussein, but to jump to thinking that this must mean that the two men are anything alike would be outrageously illogical. By that logic, John Wayne Gacy is like John the Baptist.
"What's in a name?", after all...

Not really - "Hussein" is a very common name in the Middle East. Making a big deal about it is about on par with getting annoyed at Bill Clinton because his middle name (Jefferson) is the same as the first name of the President of the Confederacy.

1. It doesn't bother me a bit. In fact, it's nice if we can rise above petty bigotry (for instance, just because some Muslims are terrorists doesn't mean we have to hate all Muslims).
2. Saddam Hussein vs Adolf Hitler . . . no comparison. Hitler was MUCH worse, and it would be difficult to see people voting for somebody with that name . . .

NO. Does not bother me.
It better to have the name Hussein in NAME ONLY than to be "INSANE" Like Cheney and Bush.

Just a statement: If any of you are ignorant enough to answer "yes" to this question: Find the closest bridge near you and jump off.

I think it's ridiculous to make this an issue.
It's a name, not a policy.
