She is America's famous celebrity and socialite... She is a role model for our teenage girl and the dreamgirl for boys. She brings glamour and excitement into our otherwise mundane life... Should we go to that website and sign the petition so that the symbol of America is free again?!

yes. the poor thing won't last an hour with those rough inmates. i think just the thought of going to prison will change her for the better.

but if they do put her in, can someone please tape the obligatory cellmate bed scene! that would be awsome!

PARIS HILTON, ROLE MODEL FOR TEENAGE GIRLS!!! That's frikkin scarey.

I like Paris too, and true, her and her sister are about the closest thing the US has to royalty but,

HELL NO!!! Just cuz her family has money shouldn't make her exempt from the law, or make her eligible for special treatment. She broke the law, she should be treated no differently than some ditch digger or homeless person who commited the same crime. She should have to take her punishment and hopefully she will learn her lesson and finally realize that she is not some little princess who can get away with anything just cuz she was born wealthy.

No, she did the crime and now she should do the time. Being a spoiled rich brat is no excuse. Why do the rich in this country feel they deserve special treatment when we are all supposed to be "equal?" Does equal have a different meaning I was never taught? Are some more equal than others? If this is the case, something should be done about it. And if you consider her a role model, what does this say about your character? Do you have good morals? You need to consider these things before you share a cell with her.

No Way!! There are alot more important things on the governators plate than Miss Hilton I would hope and she got herself into trouble so she needs to face the consequences herself. If your life is that mundane then you should get a life. I really hope that she has a wake up call and changes the way she lives her life. It is scary to think that she is a role model to young women and girls in our sociaty.

Paris is no role model for our teens. In my opinion, she is a spoiled narcisstic brat who thinks she can get away with anything...even breaking the laws without paying the price. Paris....take responsibility for your own actions. You are a grown woman. You thumb your nose at the law and the law will make you pay. Fair & simple. Go to jail . Take your punishment and learn from it.

NO
Unlike the petition that is going to Arnold my life is far from mundane. He didn't pardon guy on death row.
So I think Paris's chances are about the same.

Because drink driving is such a good example to set, isn't it?

Paris Hilton is the symbol of America? She's covered in feathers and eats raw meat?

No! She should be treated the same as everyone else. Those people in Hollywood need to learn that just because they have money they are not exempt from the law!

Artist: Sting
Song: If You Love Somebody Set Them Free

Free, free, set her free
Free, free, set her free
Free, free, set her free!!!

they're just putting a show with these celebs and harassing cause Paris Hilton, guess she doesn't have corrupt high level connections, in houston (harris county) they gave these girls (one last name Dunn, from wealthy families) they gave them probation for armed robbery (several convenient stores) and they had to shelve books in an air conditioned library and tutor kids (they were even retard students, just fat-cats, but secret corrupt connection fat-cats not famous or celebs) why don't they mow lawns? corrupt district judge david medina (put by bush and rick perry) flunked breathalyzer, gave fake trial and DA dropped charges, let corrupt cop kids off all the time (most notorious delinquents and criminal offenders) not only don't jail but don't charge (even relatives or friends of corrupt cops, organized crime quid pro quo, just show little badge), let them off all the time,

as to above, also said judge was so drunk and intoxicated (on who knows what) was running into constable's car

constable even said if he would have known judge, he would have let him off, fact stated to press and in court

so FREE FREE SET HER FREE! : )
