lots of drug charges in the county i live in end with this desicion, later on (months even years) your tried again on same charges. Is this legal just because it went from district to superior court ?

For the past 3 years my family's life has been a living hell because we have been treated like slaves on the black market by the family court system in our area. In court I have been riduculed, insulted, screamed at, made a joke of, and threatened to be thrown in jail for actually following court orders made by other judges. My child now has to lives half of her life in a neighborhood consisting of 8 red alert pedifiles, with her grandmother who smokes marajuana everyday, her grandfather who smokes ciggarettes everyday, and gets no child support from her father because one of the first judges I had made a mistake and took away my full custody with no just cause. So I consulted with a lawyer and was told that none of this would've happened if the judge had ordered properly on my case. So my question is, can lawyers sue judges for making a wrong judgement? I feel I deserve something for pain and suffering, lost wages, unpaid child support, and doctors bills since my child is always sick.

I thought this section was supposed to deal with debating about serious issues. It seems for every serious question there are about 20 sophomoric questions. Even where there are good questions it seems the answers are overrun with immature 12 yearolds who do not know facts just know how to spout off BS.

My mother filed what is now the 4th order of protection against me. She tells lies ranging from my weight being about 25% higher than it is, to that I'm a drug addict and would use guns against her and the police if they aren't taken away. Another thing she does is she misquotes me and takes things out of context.

Can I take care of this prior to the court date? Is there anything I can do to keep her from pulling this garbage again? She keeps trying to take away mine and my dad's guns, and get me committed.

They were elected on the implicit mandate that they would end the war. They have told Bush they will approve more money for the war, BUT only if there are deadlines for withdrawal. Bush is refusing to set these deadlines, but is insisting on the money. If the democratic contolled congress gives in to Bush's demands I think it's political suicide. People who voted for them will be very upset and not vote for democrats in 2008. So I think they can't afford to give in to Bush. What's your opinion ?

By the end of his term, due to his changes for maximum punishments over minor infractions there were 2 million in prison. Now Hillary is trying to allow prisoners the vote. Was Bill trying to create a future voting base for Hillary? And if she wins due to prisoner votes, would you still want to be a Democrat?

Hello,

Usually they always say you get 5 years you will be out in 3. Theres always time taken off due to things like Classes about drugs and good behavier so.

If somebody gets 10 years for Cocaine traffiking and he is not a US citizen how long will he be in jail like 7??

Is 10 years a good centence for 150 kilos of cocaine consipiracy?

How much jail time would you get if you get caught with 50lb of Weed traficking and attempt to destribute?? Being your first offense?

Any body got any idea for these questions let me know interested to see what you all think

I just wanted to ask when illegal is acceptable in this country. With the illegal immigration debate, people state it is ok for people to be here illegally, we have no right to stop someone from making a better life for themselves.. But don't we have laws in this country?? what about robbery, drugs, murder, theft, driving too fast, not wearing a seatbelt, paying our taxes.. We are a country based on laws and people are punished if they break the laws.. So why should be go against this for the illegal immigraition problem we are seeing. What is wrong with saying you are welcome here, but do it legally.. what is wrong with saying, hey you are here illegally.. you need to leave and send them back home. I just don't get it!!! To me illegal is illegal!!!!!!

You spent your whole life studying science, you devoted yourself to it like a religion in order to help mankind. While others were out binge drinking you stayed home studying thermodynamics, kinetics, and quantum mechanics. While most were sleeping you were awake, plugging differential equations into computer simulators. And now those same people who were out binge drinking are telling you that you don't know what your talking about, your making it up to get grants. These hannity sheep think they know more science than you, an mit graduate. How would you hold yourself back?
