Okay...last Tuesday, I got a ticket for careless prohibited driving. Mainly because, my lights were "too bright" and a police officer started trailing me almost all the way to my house, so i panicked, and rushed home. They gave me a ticket at my house and my court date is next month on the 9th. Ever since that night, I've been a perfect angel while driving. Tonight I left my boyfriend's house early(because my stomach was messed up and wanted to get home). I drove like a perfect angel...went the speed limit, I didn't do any rolling stops, my lights weren't bright, etc.,) I got home at 10:45pm...did my business and got on the computer at 11:01pm...and sometime between 11:20 and 11:25..the doorbell rung and it was a police officer. I didn't answer the door, but I didn't realize it was the police until he pulled off and drove away. His lights weren't on or anything. I was wondering..why on earth did he come to my house? Hasn't he bothered me enough?

I would like to get my nosed pierced, but I will be working for the National Park Service this summer. I will be wearing the official service uniform and interacting with the public on a daily basis. I don't want to pierce my nose now just to have to take it out in a month. I just want to get a little stud. Does this violate the NPS dress code?

"Interrogations might not be exercises in gentle persuasion, but neither are they excuses for physical beatings, suffocations, sexual humiliation, or any of the other abuses that some U.S. guards and interrogators have inflicted upon detainees in American custody. Pain will make people talk, although we may question the quality of the information thus obtained." ----excerpted from "Unconquerable Nation"

If any of the students or faculty had been exercising their right to conceal carry under state law the killer could have been stopped before he killed that many people. Why does everyone seem to over look this. Why do people only get one side of the story on the major networks.

Have these people got absolutely no spine? Bill Clinton said on Larry King that the dems didnt give Bush authorization to go to war because what they signed stated he had to pursue all avenues of diplomacy first and he didnt so actually Hillary didnt vote for the war. Is there absolutely no limits to what these scumballs will do to regain power?

I was diagnosed with depression 6 years ago, and have been on medication for it off and on since then. I'm looking into joining the military and according to most sources, there isn't any way to get around this diagnosis unless I've been off the meds for at least 1 year. I'm pretty sure I need the meds; I feel a whole lot better and function better when on them. So far I've only looked into the Army, any one know if it's any different with other branches? Thanks!

I partially blame the media and sensational stories. However, the Iraqi military is gaining strength and the people can finally trust their government (to a point of course). In addition, parks departments are being set up all over. If that's the case, then there's no way that we can be losing I don't think we would concentrate on such a thing if there was mass chaos everywhere.

weve heard from Alberto Gonzales under oath. He remembers that he fired them, but not when he fired them or why, but he still wants to take full credit. Since neither the White House nor the Justice Department has so far offered any reason why 10% of the US attorneys were fired I ask you,

My family and I, after living in an apartment for over two years, recieved a hand-delivered eviction letter in the mailbox. It was dated the first, we only got it the fourth. They evicted us because of a 'long concern over the cleanliness of the home'. They were in our apartment many times, fixing the various things that went wrong, including many floodings from the bathroom above ours, and they never said one word to us about the 'cleanliness of the home'. Well, we found a new place, a better place and have lived there for a couple of weeks. Our manager stopped by today to give us the head's up that our old landlord called our new landlord and told him that our apartment was so filthy he couldn't even step foot into it. He's a damn liar but our new landlord believed him and now the manager is going to come by every week to make sure we're keeping the place clean. Is there anything we can do to our old landlord for telling such lies about us? It surely can't be legal to do that
