Okay...last Tuesday, I got a ticket for careless prohibited driving. Mainly because, my lights were "too bright" and a police officer started trailing me almost all the way to my house, so i panicked, and rushed home. They gave me a ticket at my house and my court date is next month on the 9th. Ever since that night, I've been a perfect angel while driving. Tonight I left my boyfriend's house early(because my stomach was messed up and wanted to get home). I drove like a perfect angel...went the speed limit, I didn't do any rolling stops, my lights weren't bright, etc.,) I got home at 10:45pm...did my business and got on the computer at 11:01pm...and sometime between 11:20 and 11:25..the doorbell rung and it was a police officer. I didn't answer the door, but I didn't realize it was the police until he pulled off and drove away. His lights weren't on or anything. I was wondering..why on earth did he come to my house? Hasn't he bothered me enough?

Do you think we have some kind of psychic connection with this police officer? How do you know it was the same police officer? You should have called the police when you saw the car drive away and inquired then.
If it was for something important the police officer will come back or contact you by telephone.
Here, "prohibited" driving means you have no licence for some reason, so I don't know what that means.
"a police officer started trailing me almost all the way to my house, so i panicked, and rushed home"???
How could anyone use the fact that a police officer was driving behind them for driving recklessly (careless driving)?
We don't give careless driving tickets out for having "bright lights". It's funny how you consider a police officer doing his job by ticketing you for careless driving, "bothering" you.

right here in Canada this is probably the way it would flow: The officer became into performing in reliable faith while entering the living house (errors do ensue) observed the cocaine yet had to attend to yet another greater significant subject first. as quickly as the emergency became into dealt with the officer might would desire to get a warrant to flow back into the living house and seek for the cocaine and subsequently arrest the resident. A warrant may be required for re-get admission to in Canada, yet might very probably be granted on what the officer observed. in basic terms those days one in all our officers became into handling an audible alarm. The neighbour mentioned it became into coming from between the homes around the line. The alarm has close off with the aid of now and the officer is checking the two-3 homes that would desire to be the source of the alarm. on an identical time as checking living house windows for indications of forced get admission to the officer discovers a marijuana strengthen. He is going, gets a warrant and gets the medicine. the significant element right this is that the officer became into performing in reliable faith and that the officer concept he had the excellent living house and his motive became into to not seek the living house for drugs.

He was trying to tell you that the killer was calling from upstairs. Who knows? It could have been a number of things. There could have a crime committed nearby and he was advising residents. Maybe your boyfriend was worried about your stomach, called 911, and an officer was dispatched for a welfare check. There is no way of giving you definitive answer. You don't know for sure if it was the same officer, and you would have never been "bothered" in the first place if your lights were in regs. Your district's substation should be able give you a what's up if an officer was dispatched to your residence.

If you would have answered the door, you may have found out why he was knocking.
You did run over your neighbors dog when you slid into your driveway! I think he just wanted you to acknowledge what you had done and wanted to know if you were sorry.

Maybe they need to give you a new/corrected citation. He may have missed something administrative and needed some initials or a signature. Hell, he could have been there to drop it.
