Are they strict and law abiding? I can't imagine a person never commiting any crimes, at all, if not even minor ones.

Do they break teh law, take advantage of their power and what if your best friend is a cop and he knows u are growing weed or you take him driving and speed?

I'm working on an essay, and I wanted to get a few facts straight on this.

Since its last reauthorization on March 9, 2006, when will the act expire?

Does it violate any parts of the Constitution other than the Fifth Amendment? If so, which?

Thanks.

Not just "I have a gun"..but what you are training your family to do..We have a metal ammo box in the corner of the bedroom furtherest from the door..in it is a prepaid call phone to dial 911,a superbright flashlight,5 extra buckshot shells for my wifes shotgun, and an extra magazine for my pistol...we all go to that point at once at the first sign of trouble or strange noise and conceal behind the bed and watch the door til help gets there..anybody coming in that door better be saying "POLICE"....your plan?

You think that there will ever come a day when a third party candidate will ever win the U.S. presidential elections. (during our life span... and I plan on living another 100 years)

Has there ever been a case brought to the Supreme Court that ruled what the first amendment of Freedom of the Press meant?

To me it's always meant that the press has the Freedom to go anywhere they want.

I strongly believe that there needs to be a law that says they have to report both sides of an issue. For instance: Iraq. They report only the bad. Only soldiers know about the good we have done there.

I don't remember the numbers, but in the last 15yrs crime has consistently gone down, while the amount of crime reported has gone up. Leading the American people to believe things that just aren't true.

To make our country free from corruption, basically the unaccounted cash transactions should be avoided. For
that the following system may be adopted. We welcome your valuable suggestions.
In this system citizens of India above 12 years of age will receive a cell phone (identification instrument
capable of data processing with the aid of network services and the master computer. It will be integrated
with Global Positioning System.) with built in history card, camera and finger print scanner. Every citizen
will be assigned with an identification number *** cell phone number with finger print details. Problems with
the cell phone instrument will be immediately attended otherwise it will be replaced with another good
working one with the same data drawn from the data bank of the master computer. Tourists from other countries
will be given temporary instrument and their activities will be noted continuously. Children under 12 years
of age have to be taken care by parents or guard

Alright go to this site, and read this short letter from congress to bush asking him to publicly renounce VNRs. Then tell me what you think.http://www.commondreams.org/news2005/0107-09.htm Can we really trust our media?? Seriously. And I'm not talking about obvious propaganda like Fox News or CNN, I mean can we trust ANY media form in this country anymore? Why do we as Americans put up with this kind of malarkey from our government? Things like this, the patriot act... why do we allow it??

Don't you know Gov. Corzine's vehicle was doing 91 mph in a 65 mph zone. Plus, he was not wearing a seatbelt. If this were you or I, we would be in hot water.

Hi,
Recently I came to know that the fresh passports those are being issued now a days are all entitled for ECNR category i.e. they wont be having separate ECNR stamps from now onwards. However for ECR category they will be having “ECR” stamping. My passport doesn’t has any stampings on it neither ECR nor ECNR (as per the new rule I guess). My Agent told me that if No stamppings are there (ECR or ECNR) then it is automatically entitled for ECNR status. If any one aware of this, please let me know. Do I have to apply for ECNR or it is already entitled to have one.

Thanx in advance
Sudeep

I just got off the phone with my cousin. She told me that on Friday, her 9-yr-old son came home and said that his teacher made him stuff paper towels in his mouth after blurting out answers during class. The boy is currently undergoing tesing for ADD/ADHD. I know that he's a handfull. I used to watch him during the summer. He can drive you crazy to the point of exhaustion! I just can't imagine what good would come out of instructing a young child to shove paper towels in his mouth! The boy has enough problems with his self esteem without being made a spectacle in front of his whole class. So, my question is... is this act of telling a 9-yr-old boy to shove something in his mouth to keep him quiet and teach him a lesson, child abuse? And, what actions should be taken to prevent it from happening again?

Since you know which asiles you were in and the time frame you were in the store... are cusotmers allowed to veiw this type of thing?

I ask again with a few more details...
This happened at stop and shop and it's rumored that people come to that store purposily to steal items and the employees are in on it... in fact the police know this.

I wondered are you allowed to view the video tape with the store manager. This happened to my mom, she knows she had it with her before she went into the store and shortly before it disappeared, whcih she noticed after she checked out. She did have more than one bag with her so she didn't notice it as quickly as she would have if it were her only bag but she did have her hands on it and looked through it while she was in the store.

It had her medication, passport, credit cards, checks, and many many random things, papers with personal information , even her socail was in there because of her duplicate checks, she had written one to the irs

i bring up this up because being a 20 yr old, i see myself in the VAST minority among most of my peers. I completely blame the far left movement (which nicer than calling them communist) for this. I grew up having my teachers push there ideologies on me and my classmates basically every year. Basically all TV movie and music celebrities have the same bush bashing protesting agenda that they cram into everyones head. plus throw in the loony conspiracy theorist here & across the globe and you have the machine that fuels the hatred for America and anyone who doesnt agree with this political ideology. Are there any true democrats left that feel that this movement is getting way out of control?

I need to report my downstairs neighbors for making (or at least smoking) meth in their apartment. So my question is...what do I do? I've talked to a friend that's a police officer and he told me they can't really do anything other than keep an eye on the place. Since I have to live right above it, I'm not willing to just let it go and hope I don't get blown up. If I tell the apartment complex, do they have some type of procedure they follow to deal with meth labs? I want to stay anonymous but I'm sure they'll know it was me that told anyways. What can I do? I don't even feel safe going home at this point and if I do keep it anonymous, how will I know if it's ever been looked into? Any suggestions?
