Your question involves an unproven premise. That is, you assume that the schools are producing "shooters" and "invaders" when there is no palpable evidence that one is causing the other. Perhaps it is not the schools at all that are producing these trends. Undoubtedly you are thinking of the incident from Virginia Tech. Well, what you may observe is that the incident happened in Virginia. Now think of the other similar incident, Columbine. That happened in Littleton, Colorado. Now, these two locations have important things in common. Virginia Tech is located not far from the CIA headquarters and Littleton is located right near the Lockhead Martin offices, one of the world's largest war companies. Now add to the mix the fact that the VT and Columbine killers were taking prozac or similar such drugs, and may have been receiving mental programing from the CIA or Lockhead, respectively. The combination could be quite deadly. Thus the violence may not at all be taught in the schools, necessarily. The violence could be coming from the power structure of the US government itself. So the larger question might be: Why is it necessary for the major powers of the world, such as the US to engage in warfare throughout the world and to kill so many people? I wish I had an answer for you to that one.

You gotta live in a cave if you haven't read about all the bad stuff happening on the other side of the globe. Didn't Russia have a school hostage situation last year? And how about all the idiots blowing up people just because they're a different religion, race, or color? And why do so many foreign students come to American schools if our country is so bad? If everyone cleaned up their own backyard first, they'd have less time to pick on their neighbor. Have a nice day. <*)))><

Your pointing a finger at America as if all other countries have a clean slate. Freedom has its price and the school shooting was unfourtunate however compared to the other world terrorist activities and overall Wacko's...hey remember the gas on the train in Japan, and mass suicides in South america. America is generally a safe and stable place. Regarding Globe trotting Military invaders...why don't you research Germany, Japan and the UK.. Iraq is officially the only country we have invaded since our independence in 1776. Why don't you tell us what country you live and we will put you on the list to invade and show you

You failed to mention the positive things that it produces. Then lets talk about some of the negative things that the society in your country produces. I hope that your women have equal rights. I know that they want it.

Don't know about the school shooters, it doesn't happen that often. Far as invaders are concerned, I dfon't recall anyone we attacked that didn't have it coming.
