I read a news story that indicates if Mrs. Clinton is elected President she will make Mr. Clinton a roving ambassador throughout the world. I'm sure when he's not roving the world he will be staying in his house in New York. Who will be sharing her bed in the White House? Not her husband. After her presidency (if our country can survive it) NO ONE will ever want a woman president again. I hope a real man like John McCain wins. As an 18 year old first time voter he has my vote hands down. I love his response to that left wing Democratic Party organization who's going to spend a lot of money criticizing Mr. McCain. Hopefully after their campaign Mr. McCain will have a lot more votes. Go McCain!!

Even now, aren't we being attacked with skills and weapons that we provided Iran and Iraq in the 80's?
So much for learning from history?

"In June 1951, a Top Secret CIA memo expressed the need to explore 'Scientific methods for controlling the minds of individuals'. Testing would require thousands of men and women who become unwitting subjects in experiments ranging from unusual to the bizarre, justified in the name of 'National Security'."

History Channel - "Mind Control: America's Secret War" Video

"Mind Control blows the lid off years of chilling experiments, drawing on the above-mentioned declassified documents and interviews with some of the victims. The projects involved brutal, at times lethal experiments on thousands of unsuspecting citizens in direct defiance of law, all ethical codes, and basic human rights."

The USFSPA is unfair to military members, why can't we get a law fair to service members and former spouses?
The USFSPA is unfair to military members, why can't we get a law fair to service members and former spouses?
The USFSPA gives former spouse a portion of the military members retirement pay FOR LIFE. It also gives the former spouses raises as the military members get cost of living allowances, and allows for raises from active duty pay after divorce. All the former spouse had to do was to be married to the military member for at least 10 years. They don't lose the benefit if they remarry. If it's considered a part of a retirement plan in which they are entitled then there should be a maximum dollar amount attached. No one is ever forced to pay a former spouse for life! Why can't a law be enacted to allow payment for the amount of time the couple was married? I understand the premise of this law was to be fair to the former spouse, but it completely penalizes the service member.

I am writing a paper and need a base to research from. What I am writing about is the lack of political education among youth, and how that contributes to their vulnerableness to political "showmanship", and politicians not taking them seriously. Can people please give me examples (specific ones) of instances where political showmanship/campaigns has been used to particularly target teenagers/young adults, rather than actual intelligent politics, etc.?

I live in washington state, A girl that I have known since she was 4 years old is wanting me to raise her 2 youngest sons because she is pregnant with her 4th child and is unable to care for any of them. The missouri family services is not involved with her. She is on state help though. She wants to voluntarily relinquish her parental rights to me. I honestly don't know where to start, or what I'm going to have to do or show the state if anything. Any ideas on where to look for information reguarding this issue?

I'd like to find out what the Army's Basic Training program is like, because I'm interested in going through it.

Here's the catch. I don't want to be a soldier. I want to be in the U.S. Army Field Band. I'm a musician, and I like the benefits that the Army band provides. Still, even to play trombone for them, they require you to go through the 8-9 week basic training program, and I'm not sure that I'd survive. I haven't even played a sport since 8th grade.

I went to the goarmy website, but the only specifics about physical ability that I could find were an 8.5 minute mile time, and the ability to make it through a 15km march by the end of the program.

So, I'd like to hear a bit more. How many pushups/situps would I have to do at a time? In a day? How often and how far do they make you run? How much sleep/downtime you you get? What about weights and lifting?

Anything you could tell me about the physical requirements (and recommendations) would be appreciated.
