For what kind of crime do you desire? There's plenty of famous criminals yet they fall into differen't catagories. Charles Manson is rather famous for the series of Murders his little following commited back in the day. He actually didn't kill anyone but he's still in prison for the rest of his life. The shooting at Virginia Tech sure puts Mr. Cho in a "international curiosity" stance yet I doubt he's famous in most respects. Could you be seeking a more specific answer?

the most famous criminal that everyone knows the name of and such, would have to be Osama Bin Laden, everyone knows the korean guy, but not many know his name
