no, they would assume you can or do have a wheel chair and will be able to still apear.
Handicap people who can't walk at all, still have to appear in court.

Depends on medical condition , what type of information would be needed......

Contact the person listed on the subpoena for a fax number unless one is listed.
Contact your doctor that gave you those orders and have him/her fax the orders to the location listed on the subpoena - have them state you current limitations and have them also mail you a copy of the fax with the date and time sent - signed by who sent the fax.

Your doctor should have no problem providing this information for you - if he/she is treating you for a legitimate injury.
You may have to pay for the fax and signed a release at some time in the future.

Yes, absolutely you will. Contact the attorney who sent the subpoena and explain the situation. They can make accommodations for you. Also, contact your physician and ask him/her to write a letter about your condition and how long it is estimated before you will be able to appear in court. Start NOW.

Most people who can't walk get a wheel chair...that's my opinion. But I would think if you don't want to go that route then yes you'll need a slip from your doctor.

Certificate of the doctor that you are incapacitated to attend a hearing is needed in order to justify the absence.

Call the court and ask them what they need. Maybe they will let your doctor fax a note.

find a lawyer who will go for you... if you get lucky they will hardly charge you much because of your situation. really milk them and make them feel sorry for you. it works... some of them are people just like us.
