Great Question.
I sure hope not.
Oh wait! Hilary Clinton said a couple of weeks ago that she does not regret voting for the war.
Big mistake.
That is exactly why I am voting for Obama.

No and I never did. This was the biggest marketing campaign ever set upon the US and it's worked well. Just read the posts about how happy the Iraqis are and how dangerous Saddam was.
We've wasted Billions of dollars and countless lives. The eventual outcome will be a destabilized middle east, increased radicalization of extremest groups and increased mistrust of the US in global affairs.
Smoke and mirrors and a frightened country is all it took for GW to lead us into a mess.

Sure, but it should have long been over with, Bush placed to many rules on starting a War, There are no rules in War, in and out, do what you must, no excuses, or apologies. War is not pretty, and never will be, But if it must be done than, don,t tie your troops hands behind there backs, Use everything you have, Than perhaps the World would take the United States, just a little more serious.

Agh! I'm so tired of this issue. Despite how wrong or right, it doesn't matter any more...woulda, coulda, shoulda. Cut it out, and stop whining about the past. The important questions to answer now are, what would the over all implications be if we now pulled out? Stayed in?

I think that going into Iraq was the right decision.
After the 1991 gulf war a treaty was signed to end the war.
Saddam Violated that treaty (I can not find anyone who denies this)
We Resumed hostilities (That is the definition of a good legal war)
Everything has not gone swimmingly, but it has not been that bad as wars go.
But I have only done 2 tours in the mid east so maybe some of you know better than me.

We did the right thing in Iraq.
As for what other countries think...well, so what? If you know you are doing the right thing, standing alone may be lonely but it isn't difficult.
It is always harder to do the right thing, and easier to run away from the problem.

Most of the Brownshirts still believe there were WMDs.
They believe that Sadaam killed as many Iraqis as have died since the US invasion.

Yes, I do believe our government made the right decision in invading Iraq. We will never know everything that they (President/ Sec. of defense / others with high security clearance) know. We didn't know it then and we never will know it. That is why we watch the candidates voting history, and listen to their speeches, so we can judge their character (do their words and actions match up?) then we vote & have to trust them to do the right thing.

I do.
Having seen the Iraqi reaction at the liberation of Iraq, I will continue to believe that the Iraqis want this; and there isn't much other than their rejection of that liberation that would change my mind.
