I thought this section was supposed to deal with debating about serious issues. It seems for every serious question there are about 20 sophomoric questions. Even where there are good questions it seems the answers are overrun with immature 12 yearolds who do not know facts just know how to spout off BS.

A very bad joke...
People push the envelope of "free speech" to just post total slurs, stereotypes, and crap. It's not about having any meaningful dialogue, but just pissing somebody else off.
I enjoy the other categories much more than this one...

For what it is worth this is what the free exchange of ideas looks like. It isn't always pretty but there are participants from all levels of sophistication here. Some may start out just repeating things they heard but might actually learn something or be inspired by a thoughtful answer to learn a thing or two.
Some are really certifiable but it is all pretty entertaining.

I have found that true in every category. Ridiculous questions and/or answers. Just have to get picky about the questions I choose to answer.
