i think so my friend is from India he is not a citizen and he has a pistol and a AK 47 and he got them legally

We have rules and restrictions on buying a gun. If you are a tourist on a short trip, you probably won't have time to get the permits and go through all the red tape to get one. Even if you could get one, you probably wouldn't be able to get it out of the states.

Sure. You can buy it and have it shipped to a licensed gun dealer in your country. An the other hand, illegal hand guns are available on almost every street corner in towns where hand guns are illegal. Strangely enough, the places where hand guns are illegal have the highest homicide rates.

Simply put...No, you cannot buy a firearm nor can one be exported to your home country. Don't take what some have said though as fact. You DO NOT have to be a US citizen to purchase a firearm here. probably not but never know these days i wouldnt ever sell a gun to anyone even if they were from america cause we r crazy:(

No. Not legally. No federally licensed dealer will sell one to you. Criminals will be happy to sell you one though.
